Monday Morning

The time of the day that you hate so much

You don't want to speak or even be touched

It's the morning you loathe rather than love

The moment of life you don't want a part of

Monday is the worst in the whole week

Walking around feeling the freak

Coming across the idea of working

Slowly does it go, a migraine is lurking

How wrong and unpleasant it could be

There is no choice but bluntly agree

Obliged to leave the comfort of rest

Was surely the most diabolical test

The alarm is going crazy at the side of your ear

Hoping it would stop like it being your fear

The battle goes on until I press snooze

But then it rings again with nothing to choose

You shift and turn not wanting to leave

But there's a voice telling you to believe

Stepping out of the covers to begin the quest

And start moving groggily east to west

The bathroom is a mess and the air smelled like BO

Everything around you will reduce your energy to zero

Not only that, but you are greeted by an arctic shower

By that time, you are rendered with no ounce of power

Following this shower is hair tangled into a nest

And your mouth smelling opposite from lemon zest

Terrible is not enough to perfectly describe

The thought of preparing, leaving, and arrive

Running down to the kitchen for a quick bite

Meeting your evil sibling preparing to fight

You look at the food hungry and quiet

But you remember the pledge of having a diet

Miserable as it gets everyone is moody

No one around can be called a foodie

Screaming, arguing, and crying comes often

Nobody gives up but stars to gradually soften

As we part our ways to conquer the day

Minutes will pass and good will it may

Everyone begins to settle and look at light

Beauty and peace comes to your sight

People believe its a punishment for blunder

I can't deny neither do wonder

But one good thing about this horrible day

Is the appreciation to the relief-filled Friday
