Me, Jamal, and Monse were at Ruby's house playing card games, when Ruby brought up a boy named Latrelle.

" Who's Latrelle?" I asked, earning shocked looks from all of them. " You're telling me, you've never seen Latrelle?"

" Or heard of him?" Jamal asked, putting his hands up.

" He's a prophet, and prophets are terrible." Monse explained.

" What the hell is a prophet?" I asked, as Jamal got up pacing around the room. " You mean to tell me you don't know what a prophet is?" He pointed his finger at me.

" No, if I knew, I wouldn't have asked." I rolled my eyes.

" The prophets are a gang-" Ruby cut Monse off,
" The santos's enemies, they're scary, they don't hold back for anything." Ruby explained.

" So what you're telling me, is I should never get into with a prophet. Wait how would I know if the person is a prophet?" I raised an eyebrow.

" It's simple, the prophets are black." Jamal told me.

" Basically people of color." Monse corrected.

" Yea, that's what I just said, black people." Jamal said, and I playfully rolled my eyes. The twins came running around Ruby as he yelled at them in spanish.

" I'm calm, I'm calm." Ruby sighed, his hands moving up and down as he closed them and opened his them. " You guys want to go to the store?" Monse asked, standing up.

We all agreed and walked out of Ruby's house. He told the twins to stay in the room, until he came back.

As we were walking my shoe came untied, and I told them to walk, I could catch up. After I tied my show, a boy walked from behind a building in front of me.

A car pulled up and the boy walked up to it. I tried to hurry up and walk past, so he wouldn't stop me. He honestly seemed kinda sketchy.

As I thought I got past them without them noticing, one of them called after me. I rolled my eyes and ignored it.

He walked up to me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. He looked me up and down and smiled. I removed his arm from my shoulder and spoke. " Can I help you?" I asked.

" Let me get your number." He told me. " I don't even know you." I rolled my eyes, as he chuckled.

" My name is Latrelle. There now you know me." He smiled. This would happen to me. I just had to encounter Latrelle. " Listen here Latrelle, im not interested." I sighed.

I started walked away as he grabbed my wrist.
" Let go, before I scream." I threatened. Latrelle let go of my wrist, and I rubbed it. I can already see a bruise, that's starting to form.

" Alright.. I need to go." I say starting to walk away again. Latrelle starts to follow me. " You don't know how to take a hint do you?" I rolled my eyes once more.

He was about to speak, when a red convertible pulled up. " Camile, let's go." Spooky called out.

" Man you got some nerve showing up on this side of town." Latrelle spoke out. " Yea, yea I know I can't believe I'm on this side of town either. I'm just picking up my little sister." He sighed.

I got into the car, and Spooky drove off. It was quiet for a second then Spooky spoke. " What the hell were you doing on prophets territory?" He asked me.

" Well I actually wasn't alone, but you know, things happen." I shrugged. " And I didn't know that was prophet territory. I didn't even know what the hell a prophet was until today." I added.

" Did he hurt you?" Spooky asked. I showed him my wrist, which was turning a purple color. " That son of a-" I cut him off. " Look Sp- Oscar, im fine, so don't go doing something stupid." I told him as he looked at me.

" Wait what were you doing on prophet territory?" I asked him. He gave me a glare. " There is no particular reason." He said.

" So you just so happened to be driving on a territory that belonged to your rivals?" I raised an eyebrow.

" Listen..here" he chuckled. Oscar pulled into his driveway. " Thank you." I said walking into my house.

" You're home early." Austin said, turning his phone off. " I thought you were at Ruby's?" Angie asked walking into the living room.

" I was but I was tired, I had an eventful day." I told them walking upstairs, as they shrugged it off.

I looked at my phone and read over the dozen of messages Monse sent me.

Monse
