Tailing

I've been through worse, I thought as I trekked through the mud in a deserted forest. It had been what, 4 maybe 5 hours since I started tailing David and Jimmy. They had apparently been living off of supply runs that they would raid and take back to "The Boss". I quietly stalked through the woods as I approached a clearing. David and Jimmy were a good 20 yards ahead, but were acting weird. Suddenly Jimmy gave a series of calls and whistles and a makeshift hut appeared. A person stepped out from behind and greeted them. "Looks like the stealth web works." David said. "Who is that behind you?" The camouflage guy said. I sharply took in breath and hid behind a large shrub on my right. "Oh him? We found him in the wreck way back there." Jimmy said. They started making ample conversation, but then David shouted, something shot out of the bushes, and everything went black.
