She dusted the livingroom briskly, then swept and mopped the kitchen. Her work was a welcome distraction from the constant insistent whispering coming from the rose. Shifting her eyes around the room and sighing, she was relieved that her mistress was out for the evening, otherwise she would fuss at Lunas for being so careless with the garden. Truth be told, Luna hated that rose. She just couldn't shake the feeling of impending disaster when she got too close.
"Welcome home mistress Rachel!" Luna anounced loudly as she thrusted the door open to allow her mistress inside. She nodded as she passed Luna, humming softly to herself. After dinner, Luna collected her mistresses plate and carried them away to the kitchen, preparing to serve desert until a muffled cry made her freeze. She ran out to the dining room and shrieked at the sight of millions of dark eyes staring her down. She back away slowly but something captured her leg dragging her to the rose. Next thing she knew she was not in England anymore.
