Y/N's pov:

"I'm only 16, i still have my whole life ahead of me" i said to myself. I hate school because the people there discredit me.

My boyfriend, Colby tries to always show me that's not how it seems, but everyday i just get lowered with my self esteem.

"Baby, every night will have a brighter day" Colby said.
But he doesn't know that i've even try to overdose and take my life away. I'm feeling hopeless there just sitting down beside my bed.

Then he takes my hand and places it beside my head, he tries to hold me but with every touch i still resist. He then sees the scars that's buried deep within my wrists.

"I'm feeling numb" you say.
"Why, Y/N ?!" Colby begs.
"This way i have control of the pain i feel inside" you say blankly.
"How long it's going since you felt this way ?, because you got me here just feeling so damn helpless" Colby says angrily.
"It's been a while, i guess i needed better luck" you whispered.
"No baby, never cut !" Colby screams at you.
He goes over to you and hug you really strong.

He whispered in your ear "I love you".
You whispered back " I love you too", that's when you really didn't want to let go of him.

"But nobody seems to get me, i feel i'm on my own" you say while staring at the wall.
He lets go of you and looks at you "Listen pretty lady, you don't have to be alone, i'm always here for you" he says slowly while grabbing your chin gently and forcing your eyes to meet.
"So baby don't cut, please don't cut, you can do anything but promise baby you won't cut" he pleads.

"But..." you start speaking before you got interrupted by him "No buts, i know your heart is hurting, you think the road has end, and you may just feel that blade you're holding is your only friend, but baby don't cut, you can do anything just promise me you won't cut" he says while tears start forming in his eyes.

The next day at school i'm feeling better than the day before.
I even cracked a couple smiles as i walked the corridor.

As soon as i walked into my class i dropped my books and every student in the room just seemed to point and laugh.

I couldn't take it anymore.
I reached to my phone and sent Colby a text:

To Colbss ❤️: I love you with my body, heart and soul to death.

(Ding!)
He responded back immediately.

From Colbss ❤️: I love you more baby.

He thought nothing and by death he didn't know that i literally just meant it.

I ducked my next class, ran home into the bathroom.
I thought to myself "I wouldn't break my promise that soon".

1 cut
2 cuts
3 cuts
4... the blood started dripping from the tub to the floor.

Colby's pov:

(Ding!)

I grabbed my phone and a message from Y/N popped up.

From Y/N 🖤: I love you with my body, heart and soul to death.

I thought nothing.

To Y/N 🖤: I love you more baby.

After that text i had a feeling in my stomach that i hated. I followed it and ran down to her house, i never waited.
The front door was open. I heard the water running.
I stormed into the bathroom and my heart just started gunning.
I put my arms around her shoulder, i'm just trying to lean her back up.
"Baby please answer me !" i yell out as i lay her beside the bathtub.
I feel my whole world just took a hit from a big avalanche.
"Somebody call a fucking ambulance" i scream heavily hoping someone will hear me.

I'm feeling mad angry like somebody lead her on to this.
"Why the hell didn't she just stop at will ?" i thought to myself.

My tears just kept on rolling as the ambulance came and head to the hospital.

Paramedics rush her in. Doctors call emergency. She's lost alot of blood the place is looking like a murder scene. I just sit silently in the waiting room trying to understand what happened.

An hour later, the doctor walks over to me with a sour face.
"Excuse me for the words that i'm about to say, i'm sorry for your loss" he said.

I just started collapsing.
"My own world, my own girl just took a crashing" I cried.
It's my fault and i let it up, "Baby i thought you made a promise you would never cut !" i said to myself.
