Story Time: Prince Ali Tumble trouble

YO GUESS WHO'S BACK WITH ANOTHER LIFE STORY!

This is actually my 2nd, My first was how I discovered Voltron 9 months ago Lol XD, That one was hilarious!

But this story is different.....

Now most of you know from my Klance Aladdin Book that I was inspired to write that because last year during Freshmen year, I was in my highschool's musical production of "Aladdin Jr."

If you all can recall I mentioned that one of my performances, I nearly died during our number "Prince Ali" 😀

So here's that story.....

Now I remember it like it was yesterday.....

It was Friday, April 13th, 2018.....

Yes.... Friday the 13th that's why this happened to me.....

Stupid bad luck......

Anyway, It was the day of our In-School performace for our school, our fellow students......

It was finally time to go and I was nervous but ready..... It was my 2nd time actually performing tho so I felt fine....

At last it was act 2, Prince Ali......

Now I was in the ensemble as a Dancer who can tumble.....

Cause as most of you know I did Cheer....

So In that number, I do a simple Cartwheel into a round-off and into a front walkover....

The little concept we made for that was that me and another girl who can tumble do the same tumble pass off stage on the audience ground, then run up the steps to get on stage to continue on.....

I've rehearsed in my tumbling costume several times to get used to it....

But on this day....

Bad luck decided to hit...... Well it is Friday the 13th....

So I got ready to tumble.... And at last, The cue came on....

I did my cartwheel fine, but as soon as I did my roundoff....

Something went wrong.....

One of the strings on my tumble pants snapped, Causing me to almost flip the rest of the way....

And causing me to almost about land face first on to the hard ground.....

Now My vision went all over the place as I hit the floor so It was kinda scary for me....

Thankfully I was not hurt....

Once I hit the ground, I looked around to see I obviously did not make the round off landing too well and got up....

I did land almost face first and on my stomach so I kind of felt like I at least scraped my knee, But I remembered I had leggings under the tumble pants...

I got up and was unable to do the front walkover.....

But I did see that one of the strings snapped....

So what did I do?

I left it dragging on the floor (Cause it snapped off the waistband but was still attached to the bottom).

I just left it straight up dragging behind me, Surprised I didn't trip....

So I put on a smile and continued on with our Entourage parade.....

After that was over, I dashed off the stage and ran straight to the Dressing room to get changed into the next costume......

I was in full panic mode.....

That was terrifying to me....

But I took a deep breath and we finished the show without any more Friday the 13th weirdness....

But the bad news was that after that performance, we got to go home but had to come back because it was also opening night for the public....

But nothing bad happened the next couple performances, I made it out completely alive....

So that's what happened folks....

The memory is burned into my brain!

Let me tell you....

So moral of the story, of you're a theater kid, If possible... Do not have musical performances on Friday the 13th.....

And if you do..... Good luck and really hope nothing bad happens.....
