Okay okay, so I tried to find who taught what during Voldemort's time at school and I found this:

Armando Dippet (?, not Slytherin): Headmaster

Albus Dumbledore (Gryffindor): Transfiguration, Deputy Headmaster (?)

Galatea Merrythought (?): Defense Against the Dark Arts

Herbert Beery (Hufflepuff?): Herbology

Silvanus Kettleburn (Hufflepuff): Care of Magical Creatures

Horace Slughorn (Slytherin): Potions

Cuthbert Binns (?): History of Magic

Bathsheda Babbling: Ancient Runes

Ogg (?): Keeper of the Keys, Groundskeeper before Hagrid

Apollyon Pringle (?): Caretaker before Filch

And I thought: Good enough. So that's the guide imma use for the rest of this. For the teachers that aren't featured... I'm just going to make up names. (BY THE WAY, THIS IS LIKE 2 WEEKS BEFORE HOGWARTS STARTS AGAIN FROM SUMMER BREAK, JUST TO CLARIFY)

CHILD OF HOGWARTS

Bathsheda Babbling walked outside, intent on taking a walk. However, she heard a wailing. She followed the noise, nearly clueless about what it might be. She gasped when she found the source: a baby. A small, light-skinned baby with extremely wide eyes, the colour of molten gold. Not amber, or anything like the sort; just pure, unadulterated gold. The baby was lying in a small, weaved thatch basket, swaddled in a black and white cloth. Upon closer inspection, Bathsheda had found that, instead of a cloth, it was a flannel shirt-jacket. A black and white, plaid, checkered flannel with tortoiseshell buttons. Picking up the basket, she rushed up to Headmaster Dippet's office. "HEADMASTER!" She said, trying to catch her breath, "Head- Headmaster. I... They were left out, just lying at the entrance door." As she gave her explanation, she very slowly set the basket down across from Dippet. The white-haired man peered over the child, just about gaping. "Why- But- How?"

"I don't know, professor. I was just heading out for a walk and heard wailing, and so I tried to find the root of the sound, and this-this was it," the brunette witch explained.

Armando seemed to think for a while. He nodded as if he had come to a conclusion, "... yes, alright then. Take the child to the Medical Wing. Madam Johannes will most likely know what to do."

So the Ancient Runes teacher did just that and carried the still softly crying child down to the medical wing for the mediwitch to take care of. As she was walking she quietly started to coo at the baby to calm it down. She did this until she finally arrived at the hospital wing, Madam Johannes took no time taking the basket from the brunette's arms. She took a bottle from a cabinet and cast a warming charm on it, then gave it to the small babe. She fed the child until they started to protest drinking any more of the warm drink. She picked up the babe and burped it, before wrapping it back up in the flannel. She finally, slowly, looked at the Runes teacher.

"Where and when?" She asked, sternly.

"Outside the front, just about a half hour ago." Said Bathsheda.

She nodded and hummed in acknowledgement. At that moment, Albus Dumbledore walked into the room. Albus raised an eyebrow, but just looked at Johannes and said, "May I have a Migraine Potion?" The mediwitch just glanced towards the old wizard and took a bright blue potion out of a cabinet and handed it to him.

"Off you go then," she said, still not even glancing towards Dumbledore.

After the Deputy Headmaster left, Bastheda spoke up. "Is... Is the baby a boy or a girl?"

"Hm? Oh, a boy... wait," the salt-and-pepper-haired woman bent down, and picked up a white slip of paper, " 'Elijah C. Syferity'' I guess... that's his name. Maybe fell out of the flannel when I unswaddled him. Hm..."

"So... what are we going to do with the child, I mean, do we keep him?"

"I would like to think so! We can't just abandon a baby! We have no idea who his parents are or if he even has any relatives, or even who would take him in!"

"Well, we really should ask the other teachers if we should, i- it's really the right thing to do, we should all decide as a staff after all."

"Yes, yes of course. I should think so." Miss Johannes mumbled, sounding quite bitter as she started taking brief inventory.

And so they did. They got all the staff together to decide whether they should, indeed, keep the small child. And so the staff, every last teacher and house elf, the caretaker and groundskeeper too, gathered around the flannel-swaddled child and looked into his huge, impossibly wide golden eyes, watching as he giggled and reached up, brushing Miss Johannes's nose with his small, plump fingers, giggling and gurgling lightly, smiling the purest smile anybody in the room had ever seen. They all turned to the Dippet- who was smiling ever so lightly- knowing his word was final. Armando cleared his throat before giving the crowd what the wanted, "Yes, I... I suppose we can- should- keep the child..." The crowd of teachers and elves broke into cheers and applause, all making the small boy in the woven thatch basket smile and giggle.

"So, how are we going to raise him?" Silvanus Kettleburn spoke up. This made all the teachers start murmuring amongst themselves.

"He should be raised as a Ravenclaw!" Said one.

"That wasn't exactly my point..." muttered Silvanus.

"No, he should be raised with Hufflepuff!" Said another.

"Gryffindor!"

"The boy should be raised in Slytherin!"

One after another they were shouting house names, all suggesting what they should teach the boy to be.

"SILENCE!" Yelled Miss Johannes, gaining everyone's attention, "We will raise him as we would any child, and with NO predefined house or preference to one. The Sorting Hat will decide his house when the time comes, with no influence from ANY of the staff, WHATSOEVER! I believe that should be about right, Headmaster Dippet?" She gave a stern look in Armando's direction.

"Yes... yes quite right. Not a child of Ravenclaw, Slytherin, Hufflepuff or Gryffindor, but a child of all. A child of Hogwarts." He said, looking quite nervous but it was hidden under a proud and calm exterior.

The crowd looked quite miffed but nonetheless satisfied. You could almost see what they were thinking, though. 'A child of Hogwarts'.

Two weeks later, the first day of Hogwarts arrived. By this time, news of the child of Hogwarts had been leaked, spreading a great deal farther thanks to the Daily Prophet. Everyone was raving on the boat about the child of Hogwarts, a majority of them not even knowing his name. All they know is the lone date he arrived, on August 18th, 1927. So, as the children had finished getting Sorted and the time for the Headmaster's speech approached, a hush fell over the great hall. This was done to Dippet clearing his throat to draw everyone's attention to the speech at hand. "So as you may have heard, there... is a new child at Hogwarts," He went on to explain the child's existence, his name, and such. The end of his speech was a regular drawl about the spirit of Hogwarts and everything until it was time for the Sorting Hat's song. It did a jazzy little tune about the school years past and how this one would differ that was so catchy it even had the most stone-hardened students tapping their foot slightly. All the students in the room could tell the years to come would be some of the best they will have.
