when elise woke up, it wasnt on her own, someone had jumped onto her
she opened her eyes to see corey yelling at her to get up
"get up!! get up!! get up!!" she yelled, insanely shaking elise awake
"okay, okay i'm up, get the hell off me" elise replied with a small laugh, pushing her best friend onto the floor lightly
"el- ow!" corey said laughing
"what time is it?" elise asked sliding out of her bed
"7:30, and sadie's outside waiting for you!" corey responded, throwing a pair of pants and a shirt at elise
"why is she here so damn early?!"
"she said it was a surprise and you just needed to hurry" she said grabbing her hair brush and straightener
"shit" elise replied, slipping on the jeans corey threw her
corey stood behind elise as she went to change her shirt, brushing her hair and straightening a few of the messy pieces
"there, beautiful!" corey said, kissing her best friends cheek
elise looked at her best friend and laughed, "thank you! i love you!" she said, hugging corey and grabbing her phone to leave her brothers apartment. her brother had an interview earlier that morning and surprisingly trusted corey to make sure the small home didn't get destroyed by his sister.
"i love you too!" she yelled
corey watched as elise sprinted out the door and jumped into sadie's open arms. sadie softly kissed her before opening the car door for her girlfriend
sadie turned around before getting in the car, giving corey a wave and a smile. she returned the wave, watching the car drive off to where she could no longer see it

"where the hell are we going" elise asked, taking a sip of the smart water sadie bought her
"oh you'll see, there's a bag in the backseat for you, it's black, mines dark teal" sadie said, clicking on the turning signal and making a left turn in the morning atlanta traffic
elise reached behind her, grabbing the two bags
"are we going exploring?!" elise asked excitedly
"like dora!" sadie replied looking at elise crack into laughter
"you're an idiot" elise said, connecting her phone to the bluetooth
"but you just so happen to be my idiot" she added, playing wild by troye sivan

sadie had brought elise to a beautiful trail, and on top was a location for the perfect picnic
elise has always wanted to go on a nature trail, but never did because nobody ever wanted to go with her, but sadie loved nature, and was honored to bring her girlfriend to the trail of her dreams
