Going into the new year you might need a boost. Wanna start off with a bang and looking fresh. I'm trying to achieve a mini glo up before the year.

🛀take a bath:
Taking a relaxing bath is honestly amazing. I try to get one in once a week cause it helps me clear my mind. But i still take a shower afterwards. Now my bathtub is pretty small, i still like to spice it up 👌

Things you can add:
-bubble bath mixture
-bath bomb
-ACV (resets PH balance of your 😺)
-epsom salt (relieves body pains and tension)
-flower petals (extra boost of scent)

Setting:
-candles
-music
-a book
-youtube
-opening the window
-humidifier

👜Shopping:
Getting new clothes can make you feel luxurious and it's a chance for you to redefine your "aesthetic" that you didn't have time to do. I usually shop at a couple different places

-Hot Topic
-Rainbow
-Amazon
-Planet Aid
-Ross

💇haircut:
You don't have to do anything drastic. I prefer to go to the salon and get my hair done because i get touch ups. But it's absolutely the same to do it at home.

-hair mask
-shampoo
-deep condition
-air dry
-trim and style

💅nails:
Same with this, you can go to the nail salon or do them at home. i did a chapter on nail care so you can check that out for this part! But always make sure to get nails that are maintainable, charming and are suitable for your day to day life.

👯connect with friends:
When i get really busy, i tend to not be able to talk to my friends alot. So i like to take time out to facetime my friends or go meet them for an hour or two

Some things to do with friends:
-have a sleepover
-go somewhere you guys have never gone before
-make food
-go to a childhood spot
-do challenges in public
-go shopping
-get pampered together
-see the stars
-give each other makeovers

🍰indulge:
I really try to eat healthy and excersise but on my pamper day i like to let myself indulge in things i don't normally get to like:

-spicy food
-lots of candy
-not exercising
-binge watching shows
-some wine (jk jk)

🌿skincare:
Having a skincare regimen can do wonders for your skin. a basic list of steps are

-exfoliator
-cleanser
-toner
-moisturizer

But you can add other things to the routine such as:

-oil cleanser (to remove makeup and dirt)
-face masks
-serums
-derma rollers
-under eye cream

📵disconnect:
Sometimes during a spa day you need to disconnect. Which means that putting away work and turning off your phone for awhile. Even going off of social media for 2 hours. Instead you could try:

-writing in a journal
-listen to new music
-find new hobbies
-spend time with pets
-meditate
-redecorate room
-go on a walk
-do yoga
-sleep
-catch up on shows
-go through old things for nostalgia
-spend time with parents or siblings
-build something

🌹clean:
Some people find cleaning as a way of relaxing. So maybe you could clean a room in the house. Clear space= clear mind. But for the love of god, please don't clean 24/7

💤get some sleep:
The best part of my pamper day is getting sleep. This time around i like to go to bed 2 hours earlier than usual because im trying to sleep more. So get some needed rest💚 if you struggle to sleep. i have a chapter on that too. Don't worry, you're not alone lol

get motivated again:
It's time to find that motivation again. For things like working, living, anything. Remembering your purpose. Keep good affirmations in your life. Along with good people. No negativity guys!✊✊✊

🙏pray:
If you haven't found the time lately and if you do pray to a god, cut out 10 minutes to pray to your god(s). Not just for what you want for yourself. But for others. And to be honest of your sins. So find some time to do this.

clear your mind:
This is an opportunity to clear your mind of everything and just let it be clear. Focus it on being in the present and breathing. Tbh, you're in this bitch fr. We all are, many of us are still grasping this. Thinking about the big thing of existence is a huge thing. So focus on the now, not the future or the past.

Maybe you can't do all of this, but i hope you're able to take one or two things from this chapter and you're able to take some time out of the week to relax. Even if it's for 30 minutes. Just make it count❄
