PJ's daycare (rewritten)

something beyond my undestanding

(This story if for male or female, even my nonbinary pals!)

Pj's pov: I walked calmly aroumd the daycare with Pallet and Goth trying to keep the kids calm because there was a storm. I had to chase Fresh because he would always try to run out. When he got to the door I caught him and saw a rather large blanket on the door step. I walked over to Goth and told him to hold Fresh. I walked back over and opened the door and while getting the blanket in the kids came either running or walking. Blueberry kept asking what was in it. I slowly unfolded it and let out a short gasp. "Oh my god! The poor kid!" It was a young child abought 10 or 12 they were absolutely beautiful with (S/C) skin (E/C) eyes. There was a note but it was too wet and torn up to read properly. I placed the note down on a table and picked the child up off the blanket. They were still asleep. We had beds for the kids to sleep in when it was nap time. I walked into the nap time room and placed them on a bed. I pulled up a chair and sat down, I thought it would've been a good idea to wash them but I would wait till they were awake. She was a human so takeing care of her was something beyond my undestanding I wrapped a towel around them and slowly lifted the blanket over them. I looked over and noticed Ink, Blueberry, Fresh, and Error standing at the door I stood up and walked over and kneeled down in front of them "Whats a matter boys?"Ink fiddled with his hands and and fummbled on his words while talking so Bluberry calmly took over the conversation. "Ink wanted to know if the kid you brought in here will be okay?" I looked back at them They were just kids... I cant tell them I don't know because they're human. They'll take it the wrong way and could go home and tell their parents the one half of the story, or they'll get scared and start to panic and I don't want that. I slowly noded, I hated myself for lying but it's what I thought was best. "They'll
be fine I promise! okay?" I hugged Ink and Blueberry. "Now you four run along." Ink smiled. "O-Okay!" They walked off. As they walked I heard Error talk "Y-You t-think he was l-lying to you?" Ink looked at error. "No...why would he lie? And puls I know they'll be okay because Mr. Pj knows what he's doing." Ink... If only that were true.
