Family Reunion

An Hour later

"Guys wake up." I whispered to the kids. It was currently 9:30 and we have been driving all day. So i know they are exhausted.

"Mommy where are we?" Kaison asked Looking around.

"Your grandparents." I said unbuckling my seat belt.

"We have grandparents?!" They both asked so surprised.

"Of course, and you have an aunt." I said laughing at their reactions.

"And they live here!? It's like a Barbie dream house." Kizle said getting out of the truck.

(The house)

"I hope they have a pool." Kaison said following her.

"Lord give me strength." I said getting out the car myself.

(Knocks)

"Who is it!" I heard a voice say on the other side of the door but I didn't say anything.

"I said Who is i- ERICA!" Abgail said throwing her arms around me so tight I felt like i could not breath.

"In the flesh." I said smiling as she let me go.

"Oh my god, you look so good. And you done picked up some weight. Happy weight that is." She said smiling.

"Same old abby i see." I said chuckling.

"And I'm never changing. And who are these to precious babies?" She asked Looking at the twins.

"Kizle And Kaison, this is Abgail your aunt." I said smiling.

"Hi." They said at the same time.

"Awww they are so cute." She said smiling.

"Girl trust me , they are not innocent." I said.

"I never thought baby E. Would have a baby. Let alone twins." She said laughing.

"It's a lot of things you guys thought I wouldn't do." I said Looking at her.

"Well come in , its cold." She said letting us in. This should be good.

(Inside)

"Family Look Who I found!" Abgail said walking us into the living room.

"Erica?" My parents said Looking like a dear in head lights.

"Baby girl!" My daddy said getting up to hug me.

"Hey daddy." I said hugging him back.

"How have you been?" He asked.

"Good. I've been good." I said Looking at him.

"That's good, and who do these beautiful people belong to?" He asked.

"Daddy this is Kizle and Kaison. Your grandchildren." I said grabbing their hands.

"You have children?" My mother said coming up behind him.

The past behind me and my mom is sorta of confusing. Me and my mom's
relationship use to be really close. But after I left. She just cut off all tides with me.

"Hello to you to mother." I said Looking at her.

"Hello Erica." She said Looking at me up and down.

"How have you been?" I asked.

"Well and you?" She asked crossing her arms.

"Fine." I said,

"So what brings you back?" She said but before I could answer Kaison tugged on my hand.

"Mommy are we staying here ? If so can we go lay down. I'm sleepy." He said pouting.

"No, baby we are just stopping by." I said.

"Nonsense! Your staying here." My daddy said.

"What?" My mom said.

"Dad I can go to a hotel." I said.

"Girl shut up , you staying here and that's finally." Abgail said.

"Ughh fine." I said.

"Come on , ill show you guys to your rooms." Abgail said taking us upstairs.

(Upstairs)

"This can't be our room." Kaison said rolling his eyes.

"I love it!" Kizle said.

"You love everything." He said.

"And your stupid!" She said back.

"Hey! Stop fighting, get unpacked so you can take your baths." I said.

"Fine. I got the bed!" Kizle said Running inside.

"I hate you!" Kaison said Running in behind her closing the door.

"Those two are a trip." Abgail said laughing.

"They remind me of us, when we were that little." I said laughing with her.

"Yeah, but Erica?"

"Wassup?"

"What did bring you back? I thought you said you would never come back." She said Looking at me.

"Well sometimes things change." I said walking to my old room door.

"Hell no. i ain't buying that." She said following me.

"Damn A , i just can't come visit my family?" I said looking at her.

She shook her head and started to walk away. "You running from something or someone."

"Yeah, Whatever." I said walking into my room.

"Still looks the same." I said as I looked around.

I just want this whole thing to blow over !
