Hate

Chapter 1: Welcome To Beacon

"You're Alexandra Lext?" A pretty lady with blonde hair asks me. "I prefer to be called Alex, thank you very much!" I sass back and cross my arms. She doesn't say anything back she just taps her fingers around her scroll.

"It says here that you punched a guy in the face for complementing your outfit,-" "He shouldn't have been looking at me!" I defend myself eagerly. "Right..." She taps around on her scroll again before continuing, "You threatened to kill a girl just because she called you cute, you refused to listen to authorities, you burned a hole in the roof of Shade Academy, and you almost killed someone with the after effects of your semblance. Is this all true?"

"Why would I tell you?!" I yell. "I'll take that as a yes."

She taps around her scroll again before saying, "Welcome to Beacon. You'll be under close watch along with 3 other girls. You'll be known as team ARSN. Any questions?" She looks up from her scroll with an icy glare. "Yes, actu-" "Great! Report to the auditorium." She interrupts me and walks out the door.

I sigh and whisper, "Welcome to Beacon..." To myself as I begin to make my way to the schools auditorium.

Professor Ozpin gives everyone a boring speech before telling us to follow the instructors out the doors to the Emerald Forest.

When we make it to our destination everyone's instructed to stand on some platforms, except for me and 3 other girls. They shoot the other students off the cliff as they introduce me and the other girls.

Riley, Seneth, and Nico... These are my new teammates names. We make up team ARSN. We've all been transferred to beacon from different schools for our 'bad' behavior.  I'm from Shade academy,  Riley is also from Shade, Seneth is from Atlas academy, and Nico refused to tell us where she's from.

Later on in our new dorm in the West wing of Beacon we begin to talk to each other, "Well, um... Wanna play a game to get to know each other?" Seneth suggests and shrugs. We agree and begin to tell each other about things we like.

"Obviously my name is Seneth! I'm from Atlas and I love to dance." She smiles and waits for someone else to speak.

"I'm Riley... I'm from Shade Academy and I don't really have any hobbies except for fighting." She giggles a bit at the end and we wait for someone else to speak.

"I guess I'll go because no one else is!" I laugh awkwardly before clearing my throat, "My names Alex! I'm from Shade Academy and my favorite thing to do is sing!"

Next to talk was Nico. "I'm Nico... That's all you need to know." "Well, that was very straight forward..." Seneth says awkwardly.

"Well, um... Any idea what we're supposed to do tomorrow?" I ask to break the awkward silence.
"You're the team leader, you're the one that's supposed to be telling us that." Seneth rolls her eyes and sighs.
"Rude much?" I stand up from a bed and cross my arms.

"Whatever. Let's just get some rest for now and figure out all the other trivial things tomorrow morning." I say taking charge. They all sigh in agreement and immediately begin to get ready for bed.

My teammates choose their beds and go to sleep as I stay up and anxiously anticipate tomorrow.
