she walked home to catch the sight of her bed still in a heap, pillows all over the corners. there was no sight of doyoung.

normally, he would sigh in disappointment and clean her bed up, sit inside and read a book or look up to the sky. instead, she didn't see him that day.

her suspicion rose as she started to look for him all around the house, lowkey panicking about what could have happened to him. she started to regret the words she told him that morning, if he was human, he would be really sad and pissed off.

but was he en error? he had a mind of an almost normal human.

with that thought, she started to sprint out of the house as fast as possible. maybe he walked out to the streets to relieve his sadness. she kept wondering what was he doing, would be be messing with someone else?

---

"doyoung! i went to look everywhere for you-"

"yikyung. i feel like i don't have enough standards to be your robot. just tell your dad to cancel me."

hearing those words leave his mouth, her mouth was dropped agape.

"yo... doyoung, i don't like pranks."

"i- actually, that was too exaggerated, i just felt so weird this morning. i had these on my face... those are kind of watery and wet, like... they came out of my eyes when you left the house... i felt weird, like i didn't do my job right. then suddenly, until now, i started to know all kinds of stuff, i know how to communicate more naturally with others, i bought coffee... i don't know-"

she didn't know the rules and the reason why feelings were never allowed in the robotic industry. as a nature, when robots cry, that is when they turn human. mechanics don't allow robots to have feelings and cry to become human and it may involve in the robots' useful features.

as of now, kim doyoung turned human. but that doesn't mean he wasn't crafted with hands of mechanics. and robots are like products, they don't last forever. he was going to disappear one day.

"yikyung... i'm just confused. but should we walk home? i'm sorry you had to go find me."

"yeah."

as yikyung started to turn her back, she decided to hold doyoung's lost hands and smiled at him for comfort. she was tired too, but she felt loved. she liked caring for some people.

"doyoung, those were tears. tears mean crying. you cried, which means you felt a strong gut of feeling. i'm sorry for what i said to you. and no, you're very worthy, okay? don't worry, you aren't disappointing. you help me with a lot of things, you make me feel loved. so don't worry, okay? and a package of gummy bears is not worth crying!" she laughed as he joined along.

she knew he mainly cried because he was experiencing feelings on his own.

he walked along with her, with a more human behavior, leaned his head onto her shoulder. they both grinned as they walked along the pathway under the sky of glimmering stars leading to their way home.
