Random word poems!

~~~~~~~
Poem 1 Ver. 1:
Fire represents my passion...
My random words sit with you.
My longing keeps me from being patient.
You take a sip of your tea.
I complain, "How much longer?"
The snowy white fields of blankness
Are oblivious to our rough times here.
I'm starting to close in on your thoughts,
But I'm scared of what I'll find
In the recesses across the field of your mind.
Poem 1 Ver. 2:
Fire represents my passion...
Hints of ideas randomly flicker in and out.
I long for an idea to linger,
But another sip of water washes away the short-lived memory.
I complain, "How much longer?"
The snowy white fields of blankness
Makes it rough to search for a single thought.
Every time I feel I'm closer to a solution,
I feel scared to lose the inspiration flickering behind me
And turn around to the recesses of an empty field.
Poem 2:
She opens her eyes and she's flying
Confidence growing,
She switches gears and pivots downward
To her collection of doodads and whatchamacallits
Don't you know it's hard to be a fairy?
Tracing the path she always takes, she swoops down
And lifts the girl's waist
Ouch! Who designed her dress this way?!
The fairy pushes the girl's skirt off
And reminds herself to wear more body armor next time
A/n:
Whew! So, if you don't know what random word poems are, random word poems are poems made by choosing random words (in this case I chose ten words) and write a poem with one of those words in each line, in the order you chose them. So it's pretty self-explanatory 😅 These were written on the spot, me writing a line right after a word was picked, but I don't think you have to do that -- you can probs just pick the words first, and then plan something and then write it (while keeping the words in the same order, of course). The underlined words are the chosen random words 😊
Also, that second version of the 1st poem is based on ADHD! :D
