Ethan POV

I woke up in an unfarmiliar room which was filled with the scent of my mate

I was on a queen sized bed with navy blue sheets on the bedside table there was a picture of my mate and who I'm assuming is her dad with a silver heart necklace hanging from it

My head began to pound and I felt myself becoming sick

I ran to the bathroom and threw up my mistakes from yesterday

A soft knock on the door made my head strap towards it

"Come in" I said deeply my head throbbing

Makayla walked in looking at me sympathetically and handed me a pill and some water

I felt my heart skip a beat when her soft skin touched mine

"Take this it'll help" she said sitting on the floor beside me

I took the pill and chugged all of the water

" How did I get here I can't remember anything" I said turning around and leaned against the cupboard with my arms on my knees

She laughed quietly

" You knocked on my door and I didn't want you driving drunk" she said blushing

My head pounded and I groaned loudly

"Lay down " she said patting her lap

I rested my head on her lap and she rubbed her fingers through my hair

It was bliss I've never felt this before my heart was beating so hard I was sure it was going to fall out of my chest

" I'm sorry" I said it was silent for a moment

"I fucked up bad...but when I saw you in the hallway that day i was somewhat relieved that it was you. Even before I found out i couldn't get you off my mind" I said She sighed quietly feeling my forehead

"Are you feeling any better" she said changing the subject. I felt my heart ache slightly as i sat up

"Yeah I said standing up, we walked towards her bedroom door.

I turned around to face her and pulled her towards me getting close to her ear

"I want to be your mate and I'll do anything to make you forgive me. Please give me a chance" i said brushing my lips against her earlobe 

She shivered slightly pulling away. She reached into her pocket and grabbed my keys handing them to me

"Just give me time" she said trying not to look at me

I sighed as she led me downstairs to the front door

"Thanks for taking me in" I said admiring her face before she nodded and closed the front door

I walked to my truck and got in lighting a cigarette

The more she resists me the more my wolf wants her... Who am I kidding the more I want her

I started my truck and drove off the smell of her disappearing

Makayla POV

"You can't hate our mate forever" Kate said

I sighed getting up

"Watch me" I said blocking her out

I went upstairs and cleaned up the mess
