Chapter 17-Faint

I ran to the hospital even of its really far. Traffic is heavy and my heart won't stop beating of I don't run now. Looks like the sky is getting along with me. It started raining heavily just a few meters away from the hospital. I grew tired. My legs feeling weak. I sat down the side walk with the heavy rain pouring on me.

"You don't even see her worth"
"I'm courting her"
"You're a coward"
"Do you love her?"
"Do you love your Bestfriend?"
"I'm tired of being selfless"

A car stopped in front of me. The windshield goes down revealing Blackpink

"Get in coward" Jennie commanded

I got in the car and they gave me a towel to wipe of the water

"A coward and an idiot at the same time" Jisoo said

"Why did she faint?" me
"She's sick. She's been fainting eversince you made her cry so much. But she overcome that, she's been fainting because of Chronic Fatigue"Lisa

When we Arrived, I went to her room and June's there. Even the doctors.

"She's okay now. She just fainted because of tiredness" the doctor said
"Hyung why are you so drenched?" June
"He ran from the company to here until he falls down the side walk. It's raining too" Lisa

"What and idiot" June mumbled "Yah, I'm still your hyung." i said
"This girl's an idiot too." he commented

"I told her to rest. But not oversleep. I think I need to bring her to Suwon after our concerts" June said

The girls left after checking her because of schedule and manager hyung sent me new clothes.

"So why did you call her awhile ago?" June
"I want to talk to her actually." me
"Wae?" June
"Bobby hyung got angry at me again. He asked me if I like her. But you know that feeling when you want to scream at him saying you do love her but you don't want to hurt him? It's not Sajangnim stopping me. It's him. I don't wanna hurt him." i explained

"So you hurt Rae instead?" June
"Rae is... I don't know. She's just too precious to me. Ever since we met but everyone's rooting for me. One wrong move and everything we build from the star will be useless." i said
"Quite true." June said

I watch her fall in deep sleep. We'll be leaving for Philippines next week. We can't leave her like this.

Unknown number calling...

"Hello?"me
"Kim Hanbin" a female's voice
"Nugu-" me
"You know me. But you don't need to remember. She's in danger. Don't leave her side ever. Don't trust anyone." she ended the call

June and I looked at each other confusingly. So I ended up calling someone she trusts.

"Kiseok ah" me
"Kim Hanbin? Why are you calling me?" Kiseok
"there's something I want to ask you. Is Rae hiding something?" i asked him
"I don't know If I can tell you this but... we actually found codes in Jin Ae's suicide note, it seems like murder happened 5 years ago" Kiseok
"Bwo?" me
"Harin just cracked the code. The murderer is just near you. Don't trust anyone" Kiseok said
"Missy Choi?" i asked
"Missy? Yah, she's innocent. She can't be Yeol's girlfriend if she's to evil" Kiseok
"They're still together?!" me
"They're living happily. Hanbin ah." Kiseok
I ended the call and realized something

Koo Jin Rae you freaking lied.

I was left alone in her room. She still isn't waking up and all these apparatus connected to her. A nurse came in and I asked her

"Didn't she just fainted? Why isn't she waking up?" i asked

"She fainted but no one caught her so she bumped her head. Were still waiting for the results of her tests to make sure she's not suffering from internal bleeding. She'll wake up soon. If she doesn't after 2 hours, we'll be checking her again" the nurse said and left

I held her soft hands and stared at her sleeping face. I actually made her feel bad awhile ago.

"Koo Jin Rae, how funny that I'm being regretful now. Bobby hyung must be hating me too much for being such a bad bestfriend or for being such a coward. How funny I should be telling you this face to face but I'm only facing your sleeping face. Remember few years ago? You might not remember because you were drunk dead back then. You were so broken hearted when Kiseok left you after sacrificing a lot for him. You wanted to take away the pain by drinking. I wanted to stop you but you were crying until your limping. You accidentally kissed me in front of June. You were my first kiss. You know I'm very awkward with other girls except you and you probably don't know everything about my feelings but I fell in love eversince you did that. But no, I knew from the start i'll fall for you. I know I never said sorry in our 10 years of friendship, I'm sorry for being such a coward. I'm being a coward now. I love you so much that I can't even do anything without you." i said as tears flow down my cheeks. She's still fast asleep. I'm kinda hoping she heard me waiting for her to wake up after 5 minutes or so, but no. She still haven't woke up after an hour.

"She's still sleeping?" the nurse came back and I nodded.

She checked in her, her IV, and her breathing.

"She's sound asleep. She'll wake up soon I think you shouldn't wait for 2 hours. I guess she's really tired. You should rest there too" she pointed at the couch and left.

I guess this day ends here. My Confession wasn't heard still.

I laid down the couch and slept. I'm too tired to move too. I suddenly woke up when a piece of crumpled paper was thrown on my face and I fell off the couch

"Yah, why are you sleeping too much? Are you the patient?" Rae said
"Yah, you almost freaking gave me a heart attack"i said
"Yah, come here, tell me the rest of your story last night! I fell asleep because it's too long!" Rae

I was puzzled. What story?

"What are you saying? Have you been in another dimension?" me
"Yah! Your story! That 'Koo Jin Rae, How funny that km being regretful now' that story" Rae
"You heard that?!" Me
"Yup but only up until 'Bobby hyung must be hating me now for being a bad bestfriend or a coward'" Rae
"Ah, you heard it. I'm not gonna repeat it. I'm going back to sleep" i said as I laid down the couch again and slept

"Yah, Yah! Don't sleep--aish" i heard Rae frustratingly said
