Chapter 4

"NARU-CHAN!" Isane shouted as she ran around his desk, jumped up, and hugged him. Naruto hugged her back as he looked at Retsu "She's been wanting to see you all day, master," she said

"Well, I guess it's time to take you to the Academy, eh?" Naruto said with a smile as he lifted her up in the air

"YEAH! YEAH! I wanna be like Nee-chan and you!" Isane said with a smile as he set her on his shoulders

"Then let's get going, wanna ride?" Naruto asked Retsu and Isane

"YES!" Isane shouted with a smile as Retsu giggled

"Alright, let's get going then," Retsu said as the three vanished and appeared in front of the Kiri Academy.

A Few Days Later:

Naruto looked down at some files of recent patients and rubbed the bridge of his nose "They all have the same wounds," he whispered as Retsu came into the room with tea

"Here is some tea, master," she said with a bow

"You have no idea how much I needed this," Naruto said as he took a cup. Retsu looked down at the files and said: "Is there anything wrong?"

"Hmph, just that every single person has the same kind of wounds," Naruto replied

"Same kind of wound?"

"Every cut is jagged and uncalculated, almost like you were when we first fought," Naruto said as Retsu tapped her forehead

"Then how about I take care of it?" she asked

"Good thing you volunteered, I would have sent you either way," Naruto replied, making her gain an evil aura and a creepy smile

"What was that?" she asked as Naruto gave her a look that reeked of death

"You're going whether you like it or not," he spoke as she backed away

"Alright, alright, but remember, you kill me and Isane is not going to be happy," Retsu said as Naruto shivered at the thought of Isane crying for the rest of her life and becoming hellbent on killing him like a certain Uchiha. Naruto sighed as he looked back at the files and said: "How about we just drop it, but I'm still sending you out,"

"I know, I just tried to scare you for fun," she replied with a smile

"And what did we learn?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrows and eyes on her

"That you put the fear of kami into the Shinigami himself," she said as she left with a bow

'Tch, you should have taken her out back and beat her into the ground for doing something like that,' Tenjiro said

'Did you do that with your Retsu?' Naruto asked

'We'll talk about this later, now don't you have a meeting with the Mizukage later?'

'Yeah, *sigh* the things I do to keep Konoha off my back,' Naruto said in his mind as he left for home.

Later:

Naruto sat in front of Mei with Isane in his lap, who was eating some ice-cream "Are you sure she should be here for this?" Mei asked

"I don't trust your ninja to guard a barn, now what is this about?" Naruto said as Ao glared at him. He glared back as he gained a face full of fear and backed away. Isane was still eating her ice cream as she looked at Ao and up at Naruto, who quickly smiled at her before she could see anything and went back to eating her ice cream. He looked at Mei as she had sweat on her forehead and wiped it away "W-well, I'm here to t-tell you that due to your... helpfulness... I've taken into consideration that your clinic will be granted extra fundings and I will allow medic-nin to be taught under you,"

"About time, I was wondering when you would do that, anything else?" Naruto said as Mei released a breath

"Yes, there have been reports of a woman up in the Land of Iron, she is very dangerous and the general, Mifune, has asked for assistance in taking care of her," she replied as he raised an eyebrow

"What has this woman done?" he asked

"Apparently, she has been raising hell about finding Orochimaru, attacking anyone who even mentions the name. What she wants with him, we don't know,"

"And you want to send me in to help?"

"That's the gist of it," Mei replied with a shrug as Naruto leaned back into his chair

"*Sigh* I'll go, but I want to make sure my people are watched and have top medics in there while I'm gone," Naruto said as Mei nodded

"You will leave in 2 days, gather your things and be careful," Mei said as Naruto set down Isane and walked out with a wave

"Good-bye, pretty lady," Isane said as Mei thought

'Good-bye, Kaa-chan!' as she imaged a picture of a little girl with amber hair and whisker marks "*Sigh* That would be lovely," she whispered

"What would be lovey, Mizukage-sama?" Ao asked

"Nothing, nothing, you're excused, Ao-san," Mei said as he left the room.
