Chapter 7:See You Soon

Michael's POV
As we got off the plane I left the pain and frustration there as well, I had a tour still to focus on

"So I guess I'll see you soon"

"If you dodge my calls like that again I'll be back stage without you expecting it"

I laughed when she said that I kinda liked the thought of her waiting for me backstage she's the only person I would be happy to see back stage

"Alright then I'll see you soon"

Diana's POV
I watched him giggling and laughing as he usually did when we spoke it felt good to see him smiling even if it was during a goodbye , it wasn't a goodbye for long

"Bill do you think we can go to the hotel I've got this good song I have to get down now"

"Of course Michael let me start up the car like it's a magic carpet"

"Great"

"I- okay sir"

"I know but i like the sound of the car being our magic carpet, it would be so much fun"

"I guess it would, we would have to watch out for planes and other flying objects like birds too Michael"

"I know but just imagine. Being close to the sky"

"And the sun"

"It be like we're almost as close to god as we'd ever get Bill"

"Yea Michael as close to god and death I'd like to stay on the ground for now"

"I guess so for now Bill"

Michael's POV
Bill laughed at my imagination because of his fears but my creativity just expanded more as I thought of the idea

"Id be free"

"From what Michael and get in the car Michael we have to get to the hotel to get to your sound check"

"I know I know Bill I'm coming"

I got into the car looking up at the sky tapping my foot making the beat to the song on my lap tapping lightly smiling taking a pen and napkin starting to write down the song

"Bill would a bird really scare you?"

"No not really but being close to the sun , ha that's the last object that's in the sky that id like to make any contact with"

I laughed louder and started clapping my hands to the beat I had made

"Bill do you think she really loves me?"

"Who Michael?"

"Who else Bill! Diana ... do you think she meant every word she said"

"Well I was asleep most of the time but from what I woke up to you I seen that you both had a very heart warming conversation that left you tongue tied"

"There was no tongue Bill"

"Sure there wasn't"

"Honestly Bill What kind of man do you think I am"

He laughed

"A gentleman"

"Exactly. Even if I did I wouldn't speak about it but god her lips ,just looking into her eyes had me on cloud nine"

"Great hopefully she can stay on the damn cloud with you this time"

"I hope so"

"So are you still gonna release that song that's about her"

"Which one"

"That many huh?"

"You've got no idea"
