I have never been touched before that day,
When you set your warm, brown eyes on me,
You offered your hand, full of sincerity,
You asked me to dance, yes was all to say,
And in your strong, safe arms, we start to sway.
Time seemed to stand still and set us free,
You pulled me closer and in one, two, three,
You said the words I wanted you to say.
I had never been touched before that time,
I thought I could not find in my heart,
For I have never been touched from the start,
Until you came and all the reasons rhyme,
Against all the odds, the world could not part,
What we had strengthen with each passing chime.
