"what are we doing here?" I asked my mom. we're currently in a fancy restaurant and I don't know what the heck are we doing here. "just wait." my mom answered. urgh, i'm not supposed to be in here, I canceled my date with her for this.
I heard the door open. I looked up and saw what I didn't expected.
jaehee and her family.
what the? what are they doing here?
"good evening po." said jaehee. "why, good evening sweetheart." my mom said. my mom nudged me on my side. I looked at her and she mouthed 'stand up'.
I stood up. "good evening mr. and mrs. kim." I said. "hello dear. meet my daughter, kim jaehee." mrs. kim said. "oh, I already knew your daughter." I answered. "really?" asked by my dad.
"yeah, we're classmates back in high school days." jaehee answered.
jaehee was my classmate. I worked with her on a project so I know her but we're not that close.
"soooo, why are we all gathered here?" jaehee asked. yeah, that's a question I have on my mind for the whole time.
"let's get straight to the point." mr. kim said.
"you two, are getting married."
