This is not a Hank/Connor Father/Son relationship.

Trust me-

I got some people who misinterpreted their relationship. That's actually why I wrote this tbh.

I wanted to show how some victims of abuse can turn out.

And regression is a defense mechanism for some people and I never really saw anyone take this turn before.

I can tell you that when someone regresses they turn into a childlike state of mind to cope with their thoughts.

It's easier.

But it's also frustrating.

The reason why there won't be much kissing or even a sex scene is because

Hank doesn't abuse his position as a lover and caretaker.

If you couldn't tell, I love to stick with things that are realistic and also not too fictional. Like I have read fanfics before where one of the victims just suddenly is alright again and fucks their lover everywhere but-

I can tell you that that's not true.

Maybe there are people that can cope with it better than others but there is no chance that that wouldn't leave any scars behind

He won't touch Connor in a sexual way because he knows that Connor would break even more. But are they romantic?

They are.

Hank just wants Connor to be stable again and Connor just wants someone to hold him.

A relationship doesn't have to be all around kissing and touching.
