"Of course I do."

"And thirdly, that's irrelevant, unless that is, it's more important than me?" She questioned him dangerously, a small smile finding its way onto her lips.

"No, no, no" he rushed, "Of course not." He seemed to remember himself at her raised eyebrow and rearranged his face from one of worry to a smirk he was notorious for, "You're top of my priorities, Gorgeous." he said, leaning onto the tree on his shoulder, arms crossed and head tilted slightly to the side,

"Gorgeous?" Eloise asked, "That's a new one." she said and Sirius shrugged slightly,

"It's rather fitting, I think." Eloise scoffed,

"Oh swoon." she said sarcastically, Sirius sighed,

"This supposed, 'heart to heart conversation about our feelings' is going to the dogs...pun intended." Eloise laughed and looked at Sirius,

"I spoke to the girls and I decided-" Sirius interrupted her, putting his hand to his chest and making his voice higher,

"I can't live without you, Sirius." he said fluttering his eyelashes mockingly, Eloise kissed her teeth,

"Fine, I won't tell you." Sirius stuck out his bottom lip,

"No please, Gorgeous, do enlighten me on your verdict." Eloise rolled her eyes,

"Too late." she said and walked off behind him, regret immediately filled Sirius' face,

"Lou!" he called after her and turned around, but instead of being faced with Eloise Potter, a small, white rabbit bounded around him. Before Sirius had a chance to face her, he felt something push against his back and he was falling right into the dark depths of the Black Lake.

Sirius swam to the surface of the water, flicking his hair out of his eyes. He glared at the now reappeared Eloise laughing on the bank of the lake, an idea crossed his mind and he smirked before submerging himself underwater. He swam to the edge of the lake and pulled himself up slightly, but he was still hidden under the grassy bank. He pulled himself up slightly and grabbed Eloise's ankles, she let out a quiet squeal before she hit the surface of the water. Sirius laughed as she swam up to the surface and glared at him,

"Sirius!" she said and he laughed. Eloise felt something brush against her leg from beneath her in the lake and she screamed. Sirius looked at her, alarmed and grabbed her hand, pulling her towards him,

"What? What is it?" he asked, looking over her shoulder into the water.

"Something j-just touched m-my foot." she shivered and Sirius felt goosebumps on her arms,

"Let's go inside." he said and she just nodded. They climbed out of the lake, sopping wet and Eloise hugged herself in an attempt to keep warm. Without thinking, Sirius scooped Eloise up and carried her towards the castle,

"How very gentlemanly of you, Snuffles." Eloise smirked slightly as she rested her head on his shoulder,

"You bet, Gorgeous." he said cockily. He walked in silence, up the many steps, he lifted her, and she wondered how he wasn't tired. Or maybe he was, but Sirius Black would never admit defeat, even if it killed him. They reached the portrait hole in what felt like no time at all, and far too soon for her liking, he set her down on her feet. The fat lady looked at them and smirked slightly as they said,

"Annus Novus." and the painting swung forwards, letting them in to the buzzing common room.

The pair were sat on the sofa, curled up in blankets Eloise had conjured,

"I have deja vu." Sirius said and Eloise smirked at him,
