The storm clouded the vision of the old man. He looks into the distance, seeing the floating island in front of him going down in flames.

"What...." The old man stumbles on his wet boat as he rows his boat closer to the island. A beam of light appears on his left, taking his attention away from the island. A look of surprise falls over the man's face as he steers his boat towards the beam.

"Is that...a person?!" The beam of light faded away as the man rowed closer, and a woman in white seemingly floated over the water. Her entire body was hidden by a white glow, making it hard for the old man to see.

Old one, the woman seemed to speak, there is a young one desperately in need of your assistance.

"What do you mean? Someone needs help? Where?" The old man was confused but understood when the woman in white pointed to the water below her. "Oh..." The old man breathed out. He looked down into the water and sure enough, a small form was sinking down into the depths of the water. The old man sighed and jumped from his old wood boat. Seconds later he came back up, a small red haired Lyn in his arms. The old man gently set her down of the floor of his boat, examining the symbol on the back her clothing.

"Isn't this...the Hongmoon Clan uniform?" He rolled the small Lyn on her back, her large brown ears flopping limply. The old man sighed and looked into the distance, searching for the woman in white. She was nowhere to be found, and the island in the distance burned brighter.

The old man turned around, his mind made up. He looked at the young Lyn softly.

"Hey, can...can you hear me? Hey. Hey!"

A/N yes I know, I changed it up a bit, but like, this chapter was mostly from memory due to the fact that I was on the bus without my headphones sooo y'all are gonna have to deal. Also, quick heads up, I'm going to have to change a lot of the dialogue at least for the next chapter because it's the tutorial part of the game sooo sienejdk. I'm also gonna make Cricket speak more than in the game and be hella more lazy because that is how my baby boo is and you can flipping stop me. Hmph! Okki baii.
