"Charlie," Meryl said "I need to talk to you about something." "Sure Mer, what's up?" She hesitated before she started talking. What was she going to say? "I was thinking that we should have another movie night and go back to old times," said Meryl. "I think that's a great idea" I said, "How about Friday?" "Sure"Meryl said. I felt bad that I was with Tanith all the time but I love Tanith and I want to see her often. I didn't want Meryl to think I was ignoring so I gave her a big hug. "I needed that" she said. "I know" I said. It felt nice to have her in my arms again. I really miss our connection that we used to have. I wonder what happened to that? My phone beeped and I had to let go of Meryl to get it. It was Tanith.
Tanith: Charlie come home! I miss you. You see Meryl enough on the ice and I rarely get to see you. Please come home soon!!!
I replied quickly and told Meryl I had to go. She looked upset and it hurt to see her like this but I had to do it.
