I was driving Meryl and I to dinner when something caught my eye. It was a light that was coming closer. I then saw the other light and realized it was a car but it was too late. The car crashed into us and I slipped out of consciousness and everything turned to darkness.

I woke up and quickly realized I was in a hospital. The nurse came and got the doctor as soon as I was awake. "How are you feeling Charlie?" he said. "Alright" I then remembered Meryl, "Do you know how my friend Meryl is doing?" He bowed his head and slowly looked up at me. "Meryl is in critical condition because the other car crashed into her side of your car. When it hit her, she hit her head and passed out. She has a severe concussion and she has been slipping in and out of consciousness. It is possible that she may slip into a coma. I'm very sorry to tell you this but if Meryl is to wake up, she may not remember much about her life. I'll leave so you can rest and eat something." He then left the room. How could this happen? I really hope Meryl is ok. I asked the nurse who the oncoming driver was. She said that they didn't have a name but he had been drinking while driving and ran a red light which cause him to hit us. Please wake up Meryl, I need you.
