Three steps and a bend later and we left one obstacle for another. The funky monkey is the adult version of the monkey bars. They go up an incline and back down, all over a pool of water. Oh, and before anyone gets too cocky, they’re randomly greased several of the grips. My brother jumped in without trying, his shoulder hurting by now. My husband made it two bars in and found the greased one. I tripped over my own feet and ended up going in without ever grabbing a bard. I came up laughing at myself, and everyone who’d been worried for a moment laughed too, realizing I was alright. Clumsy as ever, but not injured.
