My name is Liv

My name means Life, which is very fitting you could say as I do come from a family of, as the people call us, Muenet's who's powers all have something to do with nature.

Wouldn't be very surprising to say we are all farmers too.

My father, he can control the soil and rock of the earth, makes plowing easier.

My mother and sister, can call up plants from the earth and control them.

My brother, he can speak to animals.

And what can I do?

Well, all I can do is make plants grow...

As cool as that sounds it's not really.

First of all, I can't just make plants magically grow out of the ground, there has to be a seed there first for me to do anything.

Second, even if there are seeds, all I can raise is a sprout before I pass out or something.

Third, if I try without seeds all I get are weeds...

So yea. Not all that fun huh.

Well then again who ever said being a Muenet was cool either...

Because it's not, at least that's what a hear from other lands where Muenet are hunted like animals or are slaves.

But not here,

Not in my small village in a small country to Northwest, where it gets cold in the winter and warm in the summer.

Just a small country nobody really cares about, so no other country ever bothers to attack us because there is no wealth in gold or silver just large plots of land with people scattered here and there.

Yea sure, occasionally we get traders and raiders up in the very north of our country, but it's really only for food, that the one thing our country is good at growing food.

As I stared out the window of the room I shared with my siblings, I watched as the sun rise from the distant horizon.
I loved watching the sun rise...

Father and brother must already be at work, and Mother and sister are somewhere in the house.

But for a moment I let myself get lost in my thoughts as I know it won't be for long.

"Liv?! Are you coming down anytime soon?!" My sister, Gaia, calls from down stairs.

Speak of the devil...

I release an exasperated sigh

"I'm coming, I'm coming!" I call back getting up out of bed,  with it being midsummer it wasn't a struggle to get out of bed as it would be in winter.

Moving to the chest that held all the clothes I began digging through it to get my kirtle and surcoat.

Both were plain colors nothing bright or fancy, just beige and brown.

I had a feeling I would be working in the fields instead of the house today...

After slipping on the kirtle I tied it in place with a belt, putting on my surcoat I then made my way down stairs.
