Chapter 1 - An Injured Flower

Sun's POV

A new region, a new life. Or I wish. Of will all end the same, after trusting a bunch of people, they will just all turn their back on me and leave me to rot. I don't want to get close to someone anymore, but the only reason I'm here is for the school, I'm not here for Kahunas. It's about time I settle down from my journeys, and Alola's school is the smallest in the world, so it's perfect for me, or, sort-of. I'll still have to deal with other kids in my class. I better get going, or the professor might get mad and kick me out on the first day.

I pull my hoodie over my head and set out to class running. I stopped by a food cart on the way that was selling some apples and grabbed a few for breakfast. Not much, but at least fruits are healthy, right? Who cares. I should really get to class. I set off walking normally, the school was right around the corner anyway, but just as I turned something ran into me and we both fell. I looked next to me and there was a girl who was grunting in pain.

She had blonde hair that was very close to yellow and it reached around her waist area while two pony tails hanging down from either side of her head almost covered by the rest of her hair. She was wearing a white sleeveless dress that was now slightly dirty due to the fall along with white short heels. A little further from her head was a huge white sun hat. I stood up and held my hand out to her, my face was revealed due to the fall causing the top of my hoodie to slip off my head.

Staring at her with no expression, I held out my hand to help her up. She opened her eyes and stared up at me, the emerald green staring straight into the grey of my eyes. She took my hand to try and get up, but fell down again and winced in pain looking at her ankle, it got hurt in the fall, so she won't be able to walk for a little while. Sighing, I did the thing I would never have thought I'd do, I picked her up in my arms and she blushed but didn't fight.

My first destination was the nurse's office at the school. Even though it was small, there were still a lot of kids, all of them were staring at us. Embarrassed, the girl pushed her face against my chest to try and hide it. I didn't know what I was thinking, but a tickling sensation went through my heart. As the wind messed up my hair that was the same colour of my eyes I ignored everyone's stares and continued my way, but then I remembered I didn't know where the nurse's office was. "Where's the Nurse?" I asked simply and she looked up and pointed to the door right next to me, good thing I asked or I would have walked past.

Since my hands was full, I just kicked the door open, not hard to make it slam against the wall and break, just enough to open it. The nurse's head jerked up and stared at the scene in front of her, a hooded man carrying an injured girl. Maybe I should have not worn the hood in this situation. I walked to the bed and played her down carefully. "Thank you... Uh..." She thanked me and I could tell tell she was trying to figure out my name.

"Sun. Now forget this ever happened and that you met me." I said coldly and walked out. I don't want to grow attached to someone again and have my heart ripped out and crushed. It's better to stay alone. I could tell the nurse wanted to scold me for being like that, but rather tended to her patient. Pulling down on the hoodie, making sure it covered most of my face, I continued towards my next destination, the principal's office. I had to ask someone for directions, but I guess that's normal.

"Ah, you must be sun, nice to meet you, I'm..." The professor was cut off by me starting to speak, "I don't need an introduction. Can we just get this over with so I can get to class, I'm already late thanks to that girl." I had a cold stare for the man before me resembled Professor Oak very closely. The only difference would be his voice and skin colour, his skin was more tanned because of the tropical climate of Alola. His hair was also slightly longer. This was Professor Oak's brother, Oak. Well, I don't know his name, but calling him by his last name is right, right?

"I am Professor Oak! You will not be so disrespectful to the headmaster!" I wanted to punch him, but that would get me kicked out. I decided to play it safe and apologize. "Sorry sir...." It's not the best one there is, but it's all a relative of Samuel Oak will get. "That's better" he turned around and grabbed a piece of paper and wrote down on it. After writing he gave it to me, "This will be your classroom, now don't disrespect the teachers either!"

I just sighed and walked out, reading the note in my hand. 'Claroom 887 - Professor Kukui' is what it said. Sighing, again, I easily found the classroom since they were in order of their number, and the Professor's name was under the numberplate. I knocked and was welcomed in, still wearing my hood I turned the nob and entered. Everyone stared at me, after all, what would you do if a hooded figure walks into your classroom. "Please take off your hood during class, you must be Sun, right?" I nodded and was angry about the hood part, but I didn't want to disobey and get expelled or something on the first day.

What do you guys think? It's my first book! So as you can see, Lilly is kinda going to be the same, I don't know much about her, and nothing but his looks about Sun. I also made Sun an emotionless wreck, cuz, that's kinda what the story is about. Comment, Like and I almost just said "Subscribe" XD
