When I'm with you

I wanted to go on a date

Lucy's POV

It's been three days since I've secretly dated Natsu. And I'm still not planning to tell anyone. But, if we're dating, we haven't even tried actually dating.
I wanna ask him but, it will just feel awkward.

"Hey Natsu! Did you get another job for us?" I stood beside him by the job request board.
"I did. It says needs two people. For uhm- eh?!" He tightened his grips on the paper.

"What's wrong Natsu?" I looked at his funny shocked face expression.
"It says, they need two actor and actresses for a play. No wa-" I cut him off.
"No wait! I want this job. Let's get Mira's approval, quick!" I dragged Natsu quickly to Mira and she approved of the job.

We then headed to the client's theatre.
As we travelled, Natsu has been pouting.
"What's wrong?" I turned to him.
"Why didn't you bring Happy with us?" He looked away.

"Well, because the job is only for two people." I stated.
"He's not going to join anyways." He still pouted

"Oh. Oh I see. I'm...sorry." I continued to walk faster leaving him. My face was covered with my bangs and some black shadows under it.
I lost my strength and got depressed a bit.

"Hey wait! Lucy!" Natsu tried to catch up with me.
But I walked further away from him.
"Lucy! What the hell?! Why are you walking away from me?!" I stopped and faced him. He stopped with me too.

"Luce, you o-" I cut him off.
" Leave me alone. I don't want to hear your voice for the next 2 hours." I faced back and continued walking.

"Tsk! Lucy, I'm ain't gonna stop talking until you tell me what's wrong with you!" Natsu yelled.

I faced back at him and walked slowly towards him.
"Fine, if you want to know. Here goes, I hate it." I tightened my knuckle.
"Hate what?" His face was surprised and eyes widen.
"You say we're dating and we aren't even dating. You say it's just us but there's always someone else beside us. I hate. I thought this was my chance to be alone with you and go on a date but, you seem not to care." I crossed my arms at my chest.

"You're dead wrong. I wanted to be with you but it's hard. We are both busy. And I really wanted to be alone with you, even just once. I will savour the moment. The moment you're the only one beside me." He tightened his knuckle.

"So, Lucy, I'm sorry. I'm sorry if I haven't found time to be with you." He paused for a minute.

"I don't care. Even through everything you said, I don't care. Because...
I just wanted to go on a date, with you and you alone."
