Lost and Found

Part 3

Logan met the paramedics outside, he wanted to give them a heads up before they went in.

"Alright mate? I'm Iain" One paramedic said

"And I'm Jan, where is the patient?" Said the other

"He's inside. This morning he had a fall, then he didn't recognise one of my sisters and he cornered her. His memory has been getting worse" Logan explained

"I see" Jan said

"What's your dad's name?" Iain asked

"Brian, Brian Carroll" Logan opened the door

The paramedics walked in to the front room. Brian was fine with them taking him away, his mood completely changed from earlier.

"Alright Brian, we are going to take you to Holby City ED" Iain said

"Ok" Brain was happy

Jan drove the ambulance. Logan drove his car and took his sister with him. When they got to the hospital the girls went to the relatives room and Logan went with his dad who was sent to cubicles.

A nurse called Robyn came and did some tests. Logan didn't really understand what was happening but was there for his dad.

"Are you his son?" Robyn asked

"Yeah. Him and mum split up a while ago, that's why I have a different surname. She died a year ago so we had to move in with Dad" Logan confessed

"What's your surname?" Robyn questioned

"Keogh" Logan smiled

Robyn raised an eyebrow. There is a Dr Keogh at the hospital but Robyn thought there was no link because they looked nothing like each other.

"I'll go and get these to the lab, I'll get a doctor to talk to you two as well" Robyn smiled

"Thank you" Logan smiled back

Brian fell asleep as Logan watched over him. He decided to put a message on the group chat he and his sisters were on.

'Hey, Dad is alright. Nurse has done some tests and when the come back a doctor will talk through them x'

The first to reply was Sofia,

'Ok, I might go home. There are only so many magazines you can flick through!'

Then Natasha replied,

'I'm going too. Keep us posted x'
