Lily's P.O.V.

I woke up the next morning to the sound of seagulls.

Groaning, I yawned and stretched.

Out of no where, I was smacked in the face.

"Ow!"

I exclaimed.

"Shut uuuuup," Maggie groaned.

"I'm going to beat you down," I grumbled, sitting up.

"I'd like to see you try wolfie," she smirked.

"Grrrr," I growled sarcastically.

"Oh shit!" Lacey screamed.

I jumped.

We all turned to look at her.

"What's your deal?" Macie muttered.

"Girls! It's almost 11 in the morning!"

"What!?" Risa demanded, "no way!"

Over the years, Lacey and I had formed a connection.

Not just of best friends, but an actual physical and emotional connection.

We just figured it was from the amount of times I'd saved her.

I could feel when she was pain, she could feel I was sad, we could feel loss or gain of consciousness.

"We have to get back," Maggie murmerd,"now,"

"What is your guys' deal?" I asked, pushing my hair from their face.

"The guys are going to kill us," Zoe shook her head.

"No they won't, calm yourselves," I shrugged.

"We are leaving," Lacey ordered.

I heaved a sigh and stood.

"Fiiiiine," I groaned dramatically.

They followed after me, shaking of the towels.

Pulling out a few sandwiches and water, I tossed them to each of the girls.

"Foooood," I murmured, shoving my face into my sandwich.

"Ugh you're such a fatty," Maggie rolled her eyes.

"Why are you sho rood," I managed to say through a mouthful of food.

"Can we gooooo?!" Lacey demanded.

"What's her deal?" I thought to Maggie.

"Lucian," she rolled her eyes.

I raised an eyebrow.

"Huh? You're not doing this with Vlad," I pointed out.

She smirked.

"Every vampire has a power and," she began.

"I thought only royals have powers," I interjected.

"No, that's just a rumors that make wolves feel safer," risa smirked.

"So what's going on with Lacey?" I asked, eyeing her pacing figure.

"My brother can manipulate peoples' emotions if he's close enough to them," risa shrugged with a scowl.

"Could I maybe take her emotions and make them my own? Do you think I'm close enough to Lucian?" I asked.

"Probably," Maggie nodded.

"Heads up," I warned.

"Wha-?"

"LACEY!" I screamed.
