" Okay so do you all know that Hunter is my mate or am I going to have to beat down my dad and brothers?" I asked Peter as we drove to meet my family.

"Nope, none of them know. I only just found out," Peter shrugged.

"Ha, this couldn't get much worse for you Hunter,"I teased, and he scowled.

Just then, the car began bouncing.

Looking out the window, I saw that we were on gravel.

"Fair warning,"Peter said as he pulled the car to a stop,"one of your brothers just got back from a boarding school in the south, and his voice might make you want to kill him,"

"I think I'll survive," I replied sarcastically.

"It's not you I'm worried about, it's him," he chuckled, and I glared at him.

"Okay, it's best if you stop now Peter," Hunter warned.

"Hey, I haven't seen her in 19 years, I have a lot of teasing to make up for," Peter laughed as he got out and opened my door.

"Really, you don't have to make that sacrifice," I told him as I climbed out.

"But I must dear sister, it's a part of my brotherly duty," he sighed, putting his hand over his heart.

I rolled my eyes at his stupidity.

"Come on," Hunter chuckled while he put his arm around my waist,"we should head inside,"

"Do you want to be murdered now or in a few minutes?" I asked in an overly sweet tone.

"Keep in mind that I have no problem telling your family how the boys were made,"Hunter pointed out, and I shuddered.

"Okay,okay, I'm going," I scowled.

Hunter winked at me then we followed Peter into the house.

There was a man, a woman, and a girl that looked a little older than me.

Their eyes rested on Hunter, and a savage growl tore from deep in the man's throat.

Pushing me behind him, Hunter stepped instinctively.

I scoffed and pushed back in front of him.

"If you wanna kill my idiot of a mate, your gonna have to go through your daughter and your two grandsons," I warned the man, figuring he was my dad.

He looked just like Peter.

The woman chuckled then moved around my dad.

"She's definitely your daughter with that stubbornness Henry," she teased.

She had a lot of similar features as I had, except her hair was blonde rather than black.

The girl looked at me and smiled.

She looked like me too, but she had the woman's blonde hair.

"Mom,"I smiled.

It wasn't a question, I felt it.

She did the sort of laugh that's just a sharp exhale then carefully embraced me.

"Are these my grand babies?" She asked, and I nodded.

"yes, the one with blue eyes is James and the one with green eyes is Logan,"I smiled,"would you like to hold them?"

She nodded and then carefully took them.
