Starting A/N:
Hey, everyone! Welcome to my newest book! I felt inspired to write this from some Tik Tok that was listed as cringy. Yeah, I know, you're probably thinking, "Oh no, this is gonna be bad. I better go before it's too late."
But, hey, hang on, give me a chance!
Watch the attached video! Skip to 3:28 please. Don't watch the entire video, you'll die of cringe. Just watch the one at 3:28.
This is my first book that I officially don't have to list as 'mature' and I'm honestly beyond proud to finally have a book for readers of all ages. This book is a heavy turning book for me and it's probably the most different among all of my other books.
For one, it's not a fan fiction and it's a short story not listed as mature. I'm really excited for this short, yet adventurous journey.
Lastly, I attached the Tik Tok that inspired this book above. I know it's strange to have a Tik Tok inspire a book. But, I promise you, this book will be given all of my love and I will treat it well. I will do it good by making it a wonderful and hopefully detailed book.
Happy reading!!
Winter's POV:
I saw him walking down the halls yesterday, dressed in a bright yellow jumpsuit. He was nearly bouncing off of the walls, giggling to himself about nothing. It was as if every time he breathed, he was amused with the air in his lungs. He smiled at everybody.
It was a sad scene honestly. He would wave enthusiastically at people and greet them. They'd fake smiles and pretend they were happy to see him, but the moment he turned to greet someone else, they'd gossip about him. They'd call him gay or whisper in each other's ears about his "ugly" outfit.
It hurt me to see how they were treating him. Everybody couldn't stand the boy because he would be overly cheerful one day, but it changes completely the next day or the day after that.
What do you mean by that? You may ask me.
He changes totally and all though, he never talks about his changes in his personality or mood, I know something is wrong. He either has personality disorder or bipolar disorder or maybe a bit of both. But, how he acts isn't right at all.
He was so cheery yesterday. But, today he walked in the school, clad in dark blue skinny jeans and a black hoodie with his hood pulled up. His brown hair was slicked was slicked downwards as if it was depicting his mood and attitude today. But, yesterday, his hair was merrily spiked upwards, forming a messy, but stylish look.
He wandered through the halls, looking nearly dead as he didn't even look at anyone whispering things to others about him. People didn't even hardly try to be discreet about gossiping. I hated that they did this to a merely troubled kid.
He was troubled, but he wasn't a bad kid. I didn't know much about him. I have been going to this high school for years. This boy will be very chatty about the weather and shallow, simple topics, but he never talks about himself. He never talks about anything even slightly deep. He never sits near anyone, even when his cheery self is out that day.
Then when he goes back to being dark and moody, he completely shuts down on everyone. He doesn't practically say a word. He huffs or rolls his eyes at anything that requires a slight response. He's also been sent to detention several times for refusing to talk or present something in front of class.
So, when people pick on him for that, I cannot stand it. I'm sure it's a pain in the neck to be constantly changing moods. I know for a fact it's not easy for him either. People should just be nice, mind their own business and leave the poor kid alone.
