Phil and Steve started working immediately. At first, they went to a nearby police station to ask whether the police wants to hire them or not. The police turned them down, claiming they have no experience.
So, they aksed the police to inform them if there were any burglary. But the police refused too. Personally, I don't think there's much cases in a land of food. Unless its something like this:
Owner(tomato): Hey you! Blueberry! Return my leaf to me. I don't look so cute without it.
Burglar (grape): Im a grape, you apple! Also, I want to look cute too.
Owner: I'm a tomato! Give it back or I'll call the police!
Police:*after 10 minutes* Hey, apple. I don't see any burglar.
Owner: You guys are hopeless. I'm an apple!Umm... I meant tomato.
Still, Phil and Steve waited patiently. They made a hoop out of grape vines to catch the burglar. They also covered themselves with sticky balckcurrant juice to camouflage themself.
They waited till nightfall. Luckily for them (or maybe not), they saw a black figure hiding in the opposite bush. Wait, there were 2 figures! "Should we call the police?"asked Phil. "No,"said Steve, "they didn't hire us. This is payback time. MUAHAHAHA!"
They crept slowly towards the theif. Shockingly, the other two thieves also noticed them and were creeping towards them. "Attack in 3....2.........1!"screamed Steve. Phil and Steve leapt out of their bush and jumped at the thieves. "I got the theives!"announced Phil. " Quick, everybody! Let's get this theif!" Everyone immediately came out of their houses.
Unfortunately, for Phil and Steve. Those were not theives but were only an old mirror that was thrown away. The mirror crack under the weight of Phil and Steve. Meanwhile, the only 'theives' the others saw were Phil and Steve. They tied up Phil and Steve that were both shocked by their stupidity.
