Niall had little time to react to the evidently elder brunette's proper greeting, but he knew for sure that he felt hesitant with all of this. The woman's words that pierced into him never seemed to leave his train of thought, which turned out to be one of the main reasons why he didn't want to go along with what Liam wanted.

The man appeared kind and thoughtful, and that surprised Niall as he really thought that everyone was out to get him all at once.
Liam wasn't the same, he was the clear opposite of them all.

"I have to ask this again, Niall: do you agree for me to be your lawyer?" Liam's smooth, deep voice came out slow and sweet in a sickening way that created goosebumps along Niall's clothed skin, which needed to be cleaned as soon as possible. "Yes, Liam, but—"

"Good to hear. Now, you and I both know that you need to change your lifestyle in order to appeal to the court, so I ask you humbly and invite you to stay at my home with my girlfriend. I promise that you wouldn't intrude in this slightest and I already have a guest room ready for anyone." Niall sighs, rubbing the back of his neck that felt both sweaty and disgusting to the touch.

"I don't know, Liam. I mean, I don't have a place to stay anymore, but-"

"Then I insist." Liam opens the door to the passenger seat, ignoring the broken window which Niall immediately felt guilty for, and he had no other choice but to enter slowly into the vehicle that definitely costed more than his life at this point.
Liam got into the driver's seat and began the silent trip home, Niall peering out the window the entire time to gather his thoughts.

The elder brunette tried to speak every now and again but knew that he should save it for tomorrow as he had the time for it. Once they got to his house, the pair stepped out of the parked vehicle then went inside the home that looked way too gorgeous for Niall to even step into.

But he did, slipping off his shoes at the front door with Liam before taking off his thin jacket until hearing footsteps coming towards them.
It was the woman at the desk.

"Ah, Sophia." Liam walked up to her and planted a chaste kiss to her lips, earning a soft smile from the woman until she looked over at Niall who could only awkwardly look down at his feet.
"What's he doing here, babe? He was the one who came in earlier and-"

"His name is Niall and I'm allowing him to stay here for evident reasons, darling. He needs my help terribly and I don't want to leave him astray, so please no arguing, okay? Can you do that for?" She sighs but then nods for her boyfriend who had his arms wrapped around her comfortably.

This allowed Liam to gesture Niall down the hall and to the guest room that was across his own bedroom.
He opened the door and allowed the Irish boy in first, closing it behind them to allow needed privacy.
"Liam, this is all too much for me. You really don't have to do this when you already have enough on your shoulders. I'm just a burden at this point and-"
