Girl Meets Maya and Sami's Mother Part 2

~Sami's P.o.V.~

"Why won't you two show your art?" Riley asked us as we sit in the bay window

"Because We-- Were fine believing that nothing much is going to happen for me. Otherwise We will be full of hope. You hope for things, you get disappointed." I said Maya nodded

"What reason could your mom have for not showing up, Maya Sami? You're right; I did expect her." Riley said i sighed

"And we didn't. See? Only one of us is disappointed." Maya said

"And only one of us will never let this go. You know that." Riley said

"We don't expect out of life what you expect, Riley." I said

"What do I expect?" Riley asked

"You expect... good things. You expect people to keep promises and people to show up." Maya said

"You guys don't?" Riley asked us

"Riley, Were not one of those dreamers like you." I said

"If your mom saw your art, doesn't it make sense that she'd be proud of you guys?" Riley i smiled sadly 

"Yeah, it makes sense to you. Riley, you need to be okay with this. Do you understand that finally something is beyond your control? Look, I know you can't control your twisted need to fix people's lives." I said Riley fixes Maya's jacket

"We're begging you." I said as she tidies my hair

~Corey's Class The Next Day~

"The Korean War." Corey said

"Genghis Khan." Farkle blurted

"What?" Corey asked confused

"I just wanted to see what would happen." Farkle confessed then the classroom door opened and....OH GOD

"Hello, Cory Matthews. I am so sorry for interrupting." Mom said

"Oh no." Me and Maya said

"Nothing to forgive, Katy. Class, this is Sami and Maya's mother, Katy Hart." Corey said

"Mom, what are you doing? It was yesterday." I asked

"Yesterday I was unable to attend your little job fair." Mom said

"Career day." Maya corrected

"Yesterday I was trapped... in my vehicle... in the rushing flood waters of the mighty Colorado river! To make matters worse, I just found out I was about to have a baby any second. So I crawled myself through the sunroof and I said, "Let's do this thing." Then I commenced to deliver my own baby until finally I heard that wonderful, magical sound. (makes popping sound and mimics baby crying) "Mama? Are you my mama?" Mom said i hung my head in shame as Holden rubbed my back

"Maya Sami?" Riley asked

"Soap opera. She was auditioning for a soap opera." I said bluntly

"Can you believe I didn't get it?" Mom said

"Yes!" Everyone said but me and Maya i still had my head on the desk

"Yes. I am an actress. Are there any questions I can answer for anyone?" Mom asked Farkle rose his hand

"Ah, yes, the Farkle." Mom said

"Why are you wearing a waitress outfit?" Farkle asked

"Anyone else?" Mom said ignoring his question then Lucas had his hand up

"Yes, the pretty, young man right there." Mom said

"Yeah, thanks. Um, why are you wearing a waitress outfit?" Lucas asks
