Honestly, this is kinda of folklore for Elvelans. The tale goes that if a young couple had a child, the medication man said it would be cursed to walk Elvela as an outcast, befriending only those with a terrible fate. As it turns out, the couple had twins, a boy and a girl. The girl had wings of a Veutal, while the boy had a tail like a woony.

They befriended a child with a rocky past. The tale ends with the twins being killed by the child. That child was fated to walk until his firstborn son took the throne, all daughters destined to the same fate as the twins.

He had eighteen daughters, his son, being the nineteenth child of his, taking the throne after his sisters were brutally murdered by their father. The son took the throne, blah, blah, blah.
