48 Hours

Chapter 1

            It is May 24 it is 2 days till my birthday and my family is having a hard year. My other sister that is named Maddy died in April and our grandpa is dying of throat cancer. Anyways I am so excited about my birthday I get to have 4 friends over to spend the night. I got to go. BYE!! I go to help my mom with the farm; it is like my job but I don't get paid. Every Sunday I have to go help my mom with the farm. Some people are coming over to learn how to ride horses and I get to help them and my mom is going to go clean up the chickens, hens, pigs, and cows. ¨Hi my name is Bailee¨

¨Hi my name is Meg¨

¨Is this your first time riding a horse? ¨ I said

¨Yes...¨ Meg said.

¨So what horse do you want to ride? You can ride Jack or Rose,¨ I said.

¨Umm... I will ride Rose,¨ Meg said with excitement.

¨Ok, if you want to ride a horse u have to clean it so you use this brush the fur than brush its hair, then get the dirt off of its Hooves.¨ I said.

¨OK. I got it.¨Meg said.

So while she did that got the saddle, and I taught her how to put it on.

¨Ok let's start with the basics. Say TROT ROSE, TROT.¨ I said.

¨Ok TROT ROSE, TROT ROSE.¨ Meg said

¨Good, now tell her to Gallup.¨ I said.

¨Gallup Rose.¨ Meg said.

¨Good now tell her STOP.¨ I said.

¨STOP ROSE.¨ Meg said.

¨Now go clean her up again.¨ I said.

¨OK.¨ Meg said.

While she did that I put the horse stuff away back where it came from. Meg did all the cleaning on the horse and when she was done she came up to me and said ¨How much do I owe you,¨ Meg said.

¨$20 Thank you,¨ I said.

¨Yep,¨ Meg said.

Then Meg walked away...
