There's a New Boy in Town

- Clary's P.O.V -

"CLARY GET UP NOW OR YOU'LL BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!" My mom screamed. Ugh, school, didn't I just go two days ago?

"FINE" I yelled. I grabbed my favorite pair of black skinny jeans, my gorgeous green ripped up t-shirt, and a pair of combat boots. To top off the whole outfit, I grabbed my leather jacket. I came thudding down the stairs to get a banana and the keys to my Harley.  I then took off to school.

I pushed through the doors of the principal's office to demand that he change my detention date. But instead of two empty seats, I found that they were accompanied by a very hot "golden boy" and a middle aged golden haired woman.

"Clarissa, what are you doing here? I have a meeting," my step-dad said.

"Well, Luke, I was wondering if I could change the date of the detention you so ruefully assigned me."

"Clary, you spray painted your name on the back school wall!"

"Well I have an art show that Saturday."

"Fine. I will change it to this Saturday."

"Thanks for everything!" I replied in a sarcastic tone as I stomped out of his office.

- Jace's P.O.V. -

I was sitting in my new school in the principal's office talking about my grades when suddenly a red haired girl in dangerous-looking clothing walked in. She demanded the principal, whom she called by his first name, that he change her detention date. He, for some unknown reason, agreed? I wouldn't want to get in this girl's way.

- Clary's POV -

After I got out of the office I joined my favorite girlfriend in the entire world, Izzy.

"Hey girl," I called out to her.

"What's up?" She replied.

"I just saw one of the hottest boys in the world in Luke's office."

"Oooo is he new?"

"Definitely, I would have slept with him already if he had been here before."

"Are you sure he's not a nerd like the last cute new guy?"

"I don't know. We'll have to check during lunch."

I walked through the cafeteria to sit at my regular middle table in the cafeteria. As usual, there were a couple of guys who totally think they have a chance with me. Izzy came up behind me and shouted "Shoo, ugly boys!" which made me crack up.

"Have you heard anything about the new boy?" I asked.

"Of course. I'm Isabelle Lightwood, Gossip Queen! Apparently his name is Jace Herondale and at his old school he won the MVP of the football team. He also got a scholarship to come here because of his high grade point average."

"Ahh man he sounds like a goody-two-shoes."

"Clary, maybe you should try to date a nice guy and see where it gets you."

"Hello? Hello? Is my friend Izzy in there. The Izzy who helped me pop the bus tires on a half day so the bus kids couldn't get home?"

"Yes, yes. Your danger-loving friend is still in here, but you and I should both try it. You can get Jace and I will find one of his friends"

"Alrighty then! Am I still coming to your house tonight?"

"Yep."

"See you tonight then."

"Maybe me dating Jace won't be a bad thing," I think as I run to my next class.

- Jace's POV -

After I left the principal's office I went to my first class. I watched as that red haired girl named Clary walked down the hall with a tall black haired girl. Clary looked gorgeous and dangerous. The type of girl that I could never get to notice me. "I am a nerd and proud," I thought. Haha not. I  sat down next to a boy with brown shaggy hair and glasses. I introduced myself as Jace and he said that his name is Simon. I hope he and I become friends.
