~Letters~
~Parselmouth~
(Harry's p.o.v)

We walked out the door and James quickly halt to a stop. He put his hand in his pocket, looking for something.
"Ah, Here you go." he said handing me the letter I saw before but whenever I tried to open it, they would take it away from me.
I stretched out my hand to take the yellowish envelope, addressed in emerald green to Mr. H. Potter, Privet Drive, Cupboard under the stairs. I pulled out the letter and read:

After a few minutes I questioned, "What does it mean, they await my owl?"
"Don't worry, I got that covered already. We're going to go meet the family and go get the supplies together, alright." he said as we continued to walk together. I nodded and followed him.
"Um--James?"
"Mm?" said James, who was walking in a place.
"Where are we going to get this supplies?" I asked as we walked in.
"We go to Diagon Ally of course, we get our money from Gringotts, The wizard bank." he said, I nodded in understanding.
"Still got your letter, Harry?" he asked as he was looking around.
I took out the parchment envelope out of my pocket.
"Good," he said "There's a list of everything you need in there."
I unfolded a second piece of paper I hadn't noticed before, and read:

We went to the back of the Leaky Cauldron and stood in front of a wall.
"Three up...two across... " James muttered "Right, stand back, Harry."
He tapped the wall three times with the point of his wand.
The brick he had touched quivered -- it wriggled -- in the middle, a small hole appeared -- It grew wider and wider -- a second later they were facing an archway into a cobbled street that twisted and turned out of sight.
"Welcome" James said, "to Diagon Ally."
He grinned at my amazement. They stepped through the archway. I looked quickly over my shoulder and saw the arch-way shrink instantly back into a solid wall.
The sun shines brightly on a stalker cauldrons outside the nearest shop. Cauldrons -- All sizes -- Copper, Brass, Pewter, Silver -- Self-Stirring -- Collapsible, said the sign hanging over them.
"Yeah, you'll be needing one of those," chuckled James, "But let's get to the rest of the family first before we buy stuff."
I wish I had about eight more eyes. I turned my head in every direction as we walked up the street, trying to look at everything at once: the shops, the thing outside them, the people doing their shopping. As they walked on the path we stopped at a shop. We walked towards a young woman and a boy, about my age and a girl, who looks a year younger than me. The young women had thick, dark red hair that fell to her shoulders and bright green almond-shaped eyes. The boy and the girl next to her had the same thick, dark red hair but instead had hazel eyes.
"James, over here!" she called waving to get our attention. James smiled and walked over. He went over and hugged the women, giving her a kiss with it.
"Harry, this is your mother Lilly, your twin brother Nick and your younger sister Aster." he pointed, while introducing them. I looked at them all to read there faces. Nick glared at me, probably not want me here, as for Aster it's the same. Lilly looked delighted, so was James.
"Er- Harry, Nick already got his uniform for Hogwarts, so when you get yours done I will get your books for you ok?" Said Lilly as she was pulled by Nick.
I nodded, looking toward Madam Malkin's robes for all occasions. I entered the shop alone, feeling a bit nervous.
"Hogwarts, dear?" she said, when I started to speak. "Got a lot of people coming in here-- another young man is being fitted up just now in fact."
In the back of the shop, was a boy with a pale, pointed face was standing on a footstool while a second witch pinned up his long black robes. Madam Malkin stood me on a stool next to him, slipped a long robe over his head and began to pin it to the right length.

'Hullo,' said the boy, 'Hogwarts too?'
'Yes,' I said.
'My father's next door buying my books and mother's up the street looking at wands,' said the boy. He had a chill, calm voice. 'Then I'm going to drag them off to look at racing brooms. I don't see why first-years can't have their own. I think I'll bully father into getting me one and I'll smuggle it in somehow.'
'Have you got your own broom?' the boy went on.
'No,' said Harry.
'Play Quidditch at all?'
'No,' I said again, wondering what on earth Quidditch could be.
'I do - Father says it's a crime if I'm not picked to play for my house, and I must say, I agree. Know what house you'll be in yet?'
'No,' I said, feeling more stupid by the minute.
'Well, no one really knows until they get there, do they, but I know I'll be in Slytherin, all our family have been - imagine being in Hufflepuff, I think I'd leave, wouldn't you?'
'Mmm,' I said, wishing he could say something a bit more interesting.
"Your awfully quiet there? Everything ok?"
"Not really, it's been a day," I said, quietly trying not to say anything more.
"Oh, well, if you want you can sit with me on the train ride to hogwarts?"
"That will be nice," I said, smiling happily for being able to find someone nice and make a friend.
What's your surname, anyway?'
But before I could answer, Madam Malkin said, "your both done, my dears," We both hopped down from the footstool.
"Well, I'll see you at Hogwarts,' said the calm boy, walking out.
I walked out to see my family buying ice cream at a small stand.
Harry was rather quiet as he ate his ice cream James had bought him. Everyone had their own flavor, enjoying their own ice creams, talking to each other. I didn't like this family but its better than the dursleys.
"What's up?" said James, as he noticed he was a little to quiet.
"Nothing." I lied. We stopped to buy parchment and quills. I cheered up a bit when I found a bottle of ink that changed colors as you wrote. Nick got the most expensive quill there, and his parents let him have it. He looked at me and smirked, I shrugged it off. When they left the shop, I Asked,
"James what's Quidditch?"
"Harry, I keep forgetting how little you know-- not knowing about Quidditch!" he chuckled as Aster and Nick laughed along.
I glared.
"It's our sport. Wizard sport. It's like--like soccer in the Muggle world -- everyone follows Quidditch -- played up in the air on broomstick and there's four balls." he explained.
"And what are Slytherin and Hufflepuff?"
"School houses. There's four. Everyone says Hufflepuff is stupid but --"
"I bet I'm in hufflepuff," I said gloomily,
No, you'll be in Gryffindor like the rest of us." he said happily but quickly turned dark, "But there's not a single witch or wizard who went bad who wasn't in Slytherin. You-Know-who was one."
I didn't say anything, I didn't believe it was the whole truth. I mean that boy from the robe shop was so nice and calm with me, and he wanted to be in Slytherin.
We got our wand from a shop called Ollivanders. We each got a different wand, mine was a Holly and Phoenix feather, eleven inches, nice and supple wand. Everyone seemed very upset I got this wand but I like it. Ollivander said it was Voldemorts wand's brother, I found it cool. I don't get why everyone is so scared to say his name.
We went to the pet shop. I got a snowy white owl, I named her Hedwig but Nick was complaining about something, he strongly reminded me of Dudley. They didn't make sense to me because my little sister got to have amazing parents while i rotted in hell with the dursleys, they didn't even check on me, which infuriated me more. We got the rest of the supplies for school and went to the house that they lived in, James spoke up,
"Don't you worry, Harry. You'll learn fast enough. Everyone start as beginners at Hogwarts, you'll be just fine. Just be yourself. I know it's hard. You've been singled out and that's always hard. But you'll have a great time at Hogwarts--- I did." He smiled and took me to a room in the house
"This is your room, you'll be just fine" he walked off, probably to see the others. I glared and scurried of to the dresser to findng a pair pajamas for the night. I got dressed and went to bed and for once I actually felt comfortable.

I hope you have a good day!
Bye!!
