Butch P.O.V.

Well... my day was a disaster after that. I couldn't focus in any of my classes, guilt overtaking all of my senses. I didn't even know the day had ended until the teacher told me to leave the class, seeing how it was completely devoid of students. I quietly packed my bag and walked out in a daze. I didn't even greet my brothers when we were walking to the parking lot. I just glanced at them and kept walking.

When we got home, I went straight to my room and locked the door. Her words kept wringing in hm head.

"Don't touch me. Please." She said. I pull my hand back, feeling hurt.

"All of this is your fault." She said, still not looking at me.

"It's you and your brothers fault this happened to us.

Maybe... maybe if we hadn't fallen in love this wouldn't have happened.

Maybe if I never met you our life would've been normal!"

I shut my eyes, tears threatening to spill out. I fell back face first into my pillow. I cried once coming home. I'm not crying again. And that's when Brick came in.

"Yo, Butch, you good?" He asked me from outside.

"Yeah." I said back, face still in my pillow. (He really loves his pillow)

"Can I come in?"

"No."

"Well, too bad, I'm coming in anyway." And he barged in. Great. Just what I needed right now. I heard a quick snicker and steps getting closer to my bed. Then he starts annoying me. He kept repeating my name and poking me and just about had it.

"WHAT?!" I finally yell, getting sick of the poking.

"Nothing. Just wanted to annoy you."

"You are insufferable." I told him and put my face back in my pillow. My sweet, sweet pillow. And then he did something unacceptable.

He jumped on me.

"AAAAAHHHHHHH! BRICK! WHAT THE HECK!"

He laughs while I glare at him. When he's done, he looks at me and that's when I realise my mistake of looking up.

"Were you... crying?" He asked me. I quickly wiped my face.

"No." I sniffed. Ah, dam this stuffed up nose!

"Yes, you were. What happened?"

I look at him and sit up, resting my head between my legs. Everything Kaoru said came rushing back all at once. Tears welled in my eyes.

"Kaoru." I whispered.

"What did she say?"

"She... she told me what happened after we left. Brick. We never should have left. Why did we leave?" I asked him, desperate for an answer. Wanting to know why we hurt them.
