The cafe-haired boy settled for sorting the documents by content type and then organizing them chronologically. It wasn't the worst, so why not?
Donghyuck slaved away, sorting and reading until he was at the last drawer of the cabinet. By some horrible luck, this one was the most disorganized and hectic.
God help.
Donghyuck was bored to death. It wouldn't have been bad if there was some Micheal Jackson in the background, or maybe some Imagine Dragons. But the silence was lethal and every sound of paper blended with the background.
More or less, Donghyuck was super done with whatever shit this was. Literally, watching a rock might've been more exciting. Though Mark wasn't far from that as he concluded. He just had a face drawn with sharpie. He observed Mark as he was sorting discreetly. The guy showed no emotions whatsoever. He didn't even do anything related that looked remotely suspicious. Still, the younger boy put up with all the work.
It was about a quarter past ten, when the small squeaks of a chair were heard. Donghyuck looked up from his work to see Mark walking out of the room.
"Stay," he simply said as he left.
Donghyuck nodded and waited for him to disappear. When Mark was no longer visible, Donghyuck hurried and scampered to the nearest bathroom.
"Yah, Sol," Donghyuck checked that the bathroom was clear before entering. He turned on his ear piece.
"Hey Leo, what is it?" Solhee was busy, evident by the clicks of computer keys on her side.
"Minhyung went somewhere, but I don't know where. Could you send me a map of the inside of the building?" Donghyuck was curious about where he went.
"Sure, I'll upload them to your phone and laptop. Make sure to lock them or delete them after," she replied.
"Thanks. How's the progress?"
"No good," she groaned. "I can't find them. I would go look for them, but I can't leave my position. We're short of hands too. I would send the 127 unit, but they haven't returned yet," she explained.
"When do Taeyong-hyung and the others arrive?" Donghyuck asked.
"In about five days," she answered. "I would ask them to return, but they've also got their hands tied."
"What do you mean?"
Sol sighed, "They were helping the police and somehow got thrown into another mission. Solar-unnie didn't seem to mind that much though. Also, last I heard, Takoyaki-ojisama went to a strip club and came out with a broken leg."
Donghyuck facepalmed.
"Anyways, anything else?" Solhee asked.
"Could you send me a map of all the security cameras?"
"Sure--- wait, what do you intend to do with it?"
"I'm following that jerk-face," Donghyuck grumbled. "I've been sitting around all day so I might as well. I need to get this over with."
"I'm not opposed," she said. "Just don't get too rash."
"Got it."
"Right, well the security layout along with the electricity and breaker rooms are in your phone and computer as well. I'll talk to you later, Agent 303."
"Thanks, see you."
Donghyuck switched off his ear device and then opened his phone, quickly looking through the maps Sol sent.
