Stay With Me Part 1

"I swear to god, I am going to kill that woman." You mutter under you'd breath, as you stand up. You shook your head as you recalled the events that had just unfolded. You were on a very relaxing shopping trip, with your friend Jane Foster. Yes, the one who's in love with Thor; who also tagged along. He had to be the weirdest person you'd ever met, Jane hadn't really told you anything about him, besides the lighting and hammer wielding you'd seen on television. You had shrugged it off, and the two of you actually got along pretty nicely; besides the very immature argument over what flavor of Pop Tart to purchase. The three of you made it back to her apartment, and shared some of those Pop Tarts and coffee, chatting idly. Sounds normal, right? Thor ended up pulling Jane away, speaking to her about something; and being the awkward third wheel you were, you began poking around at Jane's things. Terrible, terrible idea. There was various beeping and flashing items, none of them making any sense to you. One of them had these two gorgeous, green lights on the screen. You didn't get it, why were there two random green spots; that strongly resembled eyes on her screen? You reached over to touch the dot things, I mean; you'd touched everything else with no result. Then the buzzing, the flashing, Thor yelling, Jane yelling,the rainbow, and the awful motion sickness. You straighten your back as you look around this place you showed up to, because it sure wasn't Earth. You were in a large, golden dome with patterns on the walls. Ahead, you saw more of that rainbow; and then a bustling city. Also, a huge, glittering palace. You took a deep breath, running a hand through your hair. The only reasonable option was to go up to the palace, that's what they do in the movies. "This is probably just some whacko dream I'm having because I got electrocuted by that dang it thing, I swear to god." You mutter angrily, pulling your hood over your head to hide your face. The people milling around the city, looked to you in scorn, confusing you greatly. 'Just because they're all wearing dresses and aren't freaking lost, doesn't mean they can look at me like that.' You thought, sighing as you continued making your way to the shiny castle. You reached it soon after, not having any trouble; much to your surprise. The entrance was heavily guarded, the guards wielding swords and spears. 'So totally a crazy dream.' You thought, as you took another step towards the large, oak doors. "Halt!" One of the guards pointed his weapon at you. "Who goes there?" You raised your hands in defense, dropping your hood; and swallowing the lump in your throat. "Uhh, Y/N." You state quietly, glancing around nervously. "Of what realm?" The guard asks, lowering his weapon ever so slightly to look you in the eye. "Uh, what? Oh, uh..." Jane had talked about this tons, but you tuned her out; purely because it was well, boring. "Earth?" You shrug. The guard glances at the others, before opening the door; making you raise your eyebrows. "Come with me." He states in his gravelly voice. You take tentative steps forward, following the guard through the winding halls. "Take me to your leader." You mutter, holding back a laugh.
