Weeks had passed since Harry's birthday and the small family was continuing to adjust to their new lives and Harry was very happy in this house- no. This home. This was home. The Dursley's has been a house. Living in the cupboard under the stairs and sleeping in the confined space surrounded by people who didn't care to give him the light of day, was not home. This-waking yo when he pleased, going where he pleased, eating when and what he wanted to at please, being safe and loved, was home. He finally understood what a family was like, and now he had his own.

When Harry woke up, it was early. He seemed to be the only one up. This was not very common, seeing as Remus was usually up early. He quietly slipped out of bed and made his was down stairs. He used to do this in the very early morning hours at the Dursley's, he liked being alone in the silence, this however, was before they started to lock him in, but Harry didn't want to think about this now. He walked into the sitting room where some embers still glowed a bright red sat in the ash from the last nights fire. He looked up at some of the pictures on the wall. He saw many pictures of Remus and Sirius from their school years and some years after. Neither had changed much. He saw some of Remus and Sirius with his Dad, James, and another whom he assumed was their friend, a short and beady-eyed blond boy. He didn't recognize the man and it seemed that Remus and Sirius weren't in any hurry to talk about him. (Sorry; I just have a strong dislike for wormtail and you can't change my mind.) Harry continues to look up at the pictures on the wall, a collage of memories, with some pictures moving and others in a standstill. Harry finally found some of just his parents. He stared at one picture in particular of his mom and dad dancing as they smiled out at Harry from the photograph. He smiles back and watch his moms long red hair spin around her and James. He felt like someone was watching him and turned to see Remus looking down at him,
"good morning, Harry" he says softly and smiles at down at him. "I see you've found the pictures Siri and I have collected over the years." He smiles softly and moves to stand by Harry, looking over the pictures he's looked at for years now. "Siri went though a phase when we were sixteen. Lily had introduced him to a muggle camera called a Polaroid. She never got it back of course, but he made great use of it. Anytime James made some plan to ask Lily out, Siri followed with the camera in hand to catch his chaotic failure for us to look at for years to follow." He chuckles softly and smiles to himself, reminiscing. Harry looked up at him and smiled,
"Papa, who is that man?" Harry asks, pointing up at the beady-eyed man with his dads and dad. Remus frowned a little,
"He... he used to be a friend of ours cub, but I think this is a story for when you're a bit older." He says softly, not sure how to tell Harry that that man in the photograph was one of the people responsible for his parents death. Harry nods and looks back up at the pictures, his eyes settling on his mother once again. "Why don't we get you some breakfast, alright cub?" He asks and Harry nods as Remus picks him up to go into the kitchen. He makes Harry and himself a quick breakfast, not sure when Sirius would be up, this had always been a guessing game. The two ate quietly and soon Sirius came downstairs. "Mornin' pup, moons." He smiles groggily and sits by Remus and takes out his wand, flicking it slightly to have a mug of coffee appear in front of him. Harry gaped in awe at the magic, sure he had seen it done a few times but it was still amazing to watch. Sirius chuckles at Harry's enthusiasm and smiles, "all in good time cub, all in good time." He says softly as he sips his coffee. Remus rolls his eyes,
"you're such a child Pads." He shakes his head and chuckles softly. Sirius smiles,
"oh shush, you love me." He chuckles and gets up to makes himself breakfast. Remus smiles and chuckles,
"yes I do." He says softly, drinking some of his own coffee as Sirius makes himself breakfast. Harry smiles at his dads and finishes eating, carrying his plate to the sink to be washed later. He hung around by Sirius and watched him cook as he hummed a tune to himself.
"What are you singing Daddy?" Harry asks Sirius.
"Oh, it's an old song your dad, Papa and I liked when we were in school. It's by one of the greatest bands of all time, 'Queen'." Sirius says fondly, as he continues to hum the song. Harry listened and smiled as he heard Remus start to hum it as well.
"What's it called?" Harry asks curiously,
"It's called 'Bohemian Rhapsody' (sorry I really like this song 😂😂). It's a classic." He smiles at him, "Remus and I will show it too you at some point." He smiles and sits down to eat. Harry smiles and sits down again in front of Sirius and Remus, waiting for another day with his dads to begin.
