Wow lmao
I mean
This book was awesome.

No, but really it was. I loved reading it and I've even re-read it a couple times. This book was a great representation of what it is like to come out and realize what your sexual orientation is. This book had started off with Owen meeting Hunter in the dorm room, and honestly I did not expect him to be such a sweet guy <3

I love the fact that when Owen came to college, he had said that he had many girlfriends before college, but with all of them, he hadn't felt the "spark" when they kissed or when he was around them. Obviously, this tells us that he quite possibly might not be into girls that much. I loved that he didn't really know what that meant, and he just assumed he hadn't found the right one yet. Because that is an accurate representation of what a lot of kids in the LGBT community feel when they try to be in a straight relationship. I loved how realistic this book was.

I also loved the backstory behind Hunter's coming out thing. A lot of the time when you read an LGBT book, there is going to be someone in there that is not okay with gay people. And in those books, the author tries as hard as possible to create a bad image for this person, because truthfully they do not want you to like them. In some books, the author succeeds, and the readers HATE that character. In other books, the readers don't like the character, but it doesn't make much of an impact. As a writer, creating emotions in the people that read your books is a great feeling. YOU were able to let that person feel a certain way. In this book, the author truly did that. There was so much hate for Mason that you could circle the world with it. Being able to do that, create that much emotion, is truly a gift. I admire that.

Now enough with the sappy stuff. What was my favorite part of the book?
It would probably have to be when Hunter and Owen came out to their friends. I'm not sure why, but I just love those scenes so much. Especially when everyone was so accepting of it. Even the guys. They crack me up, I love em.

What would I rate this book?
Hmm probably a 10/10. I truly loved this book and recommend it to anyone who loves LGBT books :)
