The horizon was amalgamating the warm colors as the sunlight beamed down upon a large cottage on the edge of a cliff, it was warm, cozy and homely. The owner of the cottage loved her home and never imagined leaving it, her name was Julia, she had a family of four Ashlyn who is her husband the family dog called Toby and the twins Nathan and Nadia They all lived happily in a family sized cottage surrounded by Beautiful red poppies.

Ashlyn loved to revive mail but todays not a good day as some unexpected mail comes to Ashlyn, it changed his life. The letter said something incredible, unbelievable and horrible! He takes a seat in the garden and reads the letter. He starts to tear up as the letter says:
To Ashlyn,
I am writing to you as World war two is about to begin so i'd like you to come to the training center to begin training as a soldier Tomorrow morning!

He was in tears he didn't want to go to war, he had a happy life with his family yet something so terrible had to happen and ruin it all! Ashlyn went inside to tell Julia the bad news.
"Julia, the love of my life, I've had a letter from that- Marcus!" He frowned and gazed down at the piece of paper that would soon change his life.
"What? Darling, what did it say?" Replied Julia. She looked even more worried than Ashlyn did.
"it....it says" Ashlyn didn't want to tell her.. So he hands her the letter... her eyes were full of tears and nothing but tears
