Laci's POV

Wow! I need to go get my nails done badly. I thought as I listened to my math teacher Mr.Jones Rambling on about Inequalities and Algebraic Expressions. I swear this man talks and all I hear is Blah Blah Blah Blahhhh! Since I wasn't paying attention any way I texted my girls asking them if they wanted to the nail shop today. After what seemed like forever they All replied yes. I guess we were hitting up the nail shop after school.

We have about 10 minutes more of this class left I might as well tune back in to what this man is talking bout. "Okay So you take the fraction and multiply by the reciprocal , then look at the value of the number on the left side of the equal sign if its positive make it negative and if its negative make it positive and go on from their! Okay guys so thats basically it. Work on the work sheet Madison is handing out and turn it in when the bell rings, you can work with a partner."

I watched as Maddie passed out the worksheets to everyone when she got to my desk. I told her go give everybody else one and then come back to me."Shame Shame Shame Laci you are such a slacker" she said laughing."I AM NOT" I said rolling my eyes. She gave me an 'Ohh really'  look. "Okayyy well maybe I AM a slacker, but only in this class" I clowned. She had given everyone their paper, and came back to me. Damn I was hoping she would run out. "Here ya go Love" She said putting my paper on my desk.

"Ughhhh I swear I dont understand any of this crap!" Now I wish I had payed attention. "Mhmmm Doesn't suprise me!" I heard a Deep Voice say. I looked up from my paper to see a boy. He was really cute; Caramel skintone, Pretty Brown eyes,thin pink lips, and the most gorgeous hair you've ever seen parted down the middle into two braids.

"Ummm Excuse Me!" I replied to him now looking dead in his face. "I said it doesn't surprise me that you don't understand the work. You never pay attention!" I could tell he had an attitude. "Ok Pause why are you worrying about me and what I do? I understand it. I just didn't get number 3 thank you!" I said rolled my eyes. "Ok so if you get it do number 4 then!" He said in a cocky tone. "FINE! I will..you just uhhh, you multiply the 7 by ummm the 9 then you flip it?" I said in an uncertain tone.

"Uhhhhhh NO!" He replied laughing. He showed me how to work the problem correctly then chuckled. I could tell he was trynna be a know it all! Smart ass. I was so embarrassed, yet kinda impressed at how well and fast he worked it out."Sooo do you get it now?" he asked. "Kind of" I replied. "Sooo whats your name anyway Ms.I Dont Care About Life?"He asked while smirking. "Well Mr.Know It All my name is Laci, and I do care about life I just don't pay attention in this class! And Since your Mr.BigShot shouldn't I know your name too?!" I said in a playful tone. "Well Im NOT a BigShot and Im NOT a know it all, but my name is Rayan but you can call me Ray." He said doing some weird thing with his eyebrows, and winking.

"Ummm well ok RAY, why are you winking at me like that?!" To be completely honest I was getting creeped out. "Im Not winking at you, or am I?" He said winking again. I just gave him a look.He was still staring me so I broke the tense moment. "So Ray are you going to help me with this worksheet or what?" I asked him nervously."Uhhh yeahh I can help you but I dont know if we'll finish before the period ends though." He play sighed. I laughed and Playfully hit his chest."Dang Laci we just met and you already feeling up my 6 pack!" He said joking around. I Then BUST out laughing!!!! I guess I had gotten Mr.Jones attention because he yelled out" Ms.Sanchez I didn't know Inequalities & Algebraic Expressions Could be so amusing! Would you like to share with the class?!" I hate when teachers do that! "I-I-I"

"It was my fault Mr.Jones" Ray interrupted saying "I was explaining to her a problem and Made a joke." "Ohhh Mr.Smith its ok I could except such dilly dally from the 1st place winner of our school's Math League's!As a matter of fact class can we get a round of applause for Mr.Smith!" Mr.Jones said in a Joy filled voice.The class clapped and then when they were done Mr.Jones turned and spoke to me saying "As for YOU Ms.Sanchez Since I see you've become acquainted Mr.Smith take notes from him he'll help improve your grade in this class young lady!" Did he just put me on blast! "What ever" I mumbled rolling my eyes.

"Soo look I need help with this crap and it seems like you kinda know what you doin, so is there any way you could maybe I dont know tutor me?" I asked Ray shly. "Suree Love I could tutor you that way you'll have the brains and the Beauty " He replied smirking."Ummm okay so when is a good time for you?" I asked him blushing from his previous comment. "How bout today after school?Is that good for you?"He asked. "Uhhh yeahhh me and my girls were going to  go get our nails done so I guess I can come after that." "Cool" he replied *still* smirking.We exchanged numbers, and talked till the bell rang. (A/N He got me outta turning in my worksheet by the end of the period too ;)

 I walked out of class to see Taylor,Madison,and Britni staring me down! "What?!" I asked them. "Ohhh don't what us missy!" Taylor yellled.:We saw you flirting it up with that boy!" Britni added."He's just tutoring me thats it! Sheesh Calm down you bunch of crazies!" I said in a playful tone."Mhmmmm" they could be so nosy at times. "What EVER!Can we just get to lunch Im starving!" "Okayyy but Prince Ain't gonna be happy about your New "Tutor" " Maddie said putting airquotes on the word tutor.

 I hadn't even thought about him and what he might say. Ohh well Ray is just my tutor even tho he's MAJOR cute! I smirked at the thought of him as we walked into the cafeteria.We walked up to the table where Prince,Roc,Prod,and Jacob where sitting.Prod gave Britni a kiss and I gave Prince a Kiss. "Hey Babe!"  "Hola Chica" he replied in his thick Mexican accent."Sooo ummm babe whats this I hear about you flirting with some guy in last period?" I Looked at Roc with an Evil glare because I knew no one but him told Prince.He looked away whistleing.I turned back to prince to explain,I told him everything, and told him Ray was my tutor and I was goin to his house after school.He didnt really agree with it but he just said ok.We all ate lunch and the whole time while everyone was talking and laughing for some reason I couldn't take my mind off Ray.I was feeling so many emotions.Then Before I knew it the Final bell was ringing.Here we go......I thought to myself as I walked down the steps of my school.

Okayyy yall Im just starting, and I have alot more stuff planned so let me know what yall think about the chapter.Comment Like Crazy people!!! lol Ohhhh and Yeahh Just to let yall know if any ppl who are smart in math are reading this and you're like what?! o___O I just typed any math sounding stuff! lol I wish Ray really could tutor me in math! :)) I Know this chapter wasn't that long so I'll have Much more later,I just wanted to kinda get the first chpt out the wayy.
