Siyu Norasaku groaned in clear annoyance as he slammed his hand on the area where he heard the blaring alarm clock, face never leaving his pillow. the silence that followed was a pure relief that he actually managed to hit the damned thing on the first try, because it meant he was still good at pin pointing the exact location of a source of noise.

his alarm clock was made special by his own design and creation so every time the day hit a new hour, the clock would beep that same amount of times. same was with his watch, only that one has a voice that Siyu programmed into it so it would tell him the exact time instead of just the hour and leaving him to ask Shiro. the program took him at least a year to complete because he kept getting distracted and was constantly busy but it was well worth it because it was very helpful.

Siyu reluctantly slid off his comfy bed and felt his bare feet hit the cold, hard wood floor. he was not a morning person at all.

siyu was born blind. he had never been able to see; not colors, not shapes or common objects. he never knew what anything looked like, he only had descriptions to go off that shiro gave him or what he read in braille written books or audio books. all he could do was imagine it, clear as day as if it were the real thing but never knowing if it was accurate or if he was right with the way he pictured it. there was never a way for him to know, and at times that made him sad. but most of the time he didn't mind, he lived normally or close to it. and he wouldn't want to be disappointed in how the world really looks compared to what he'd imagined.

so he lived day by day, never sparing a second thought to how the world looked. it didn't matter, he had nothing to miss and nothing to be disappointed in for he would never be able to see how the real world compared to his imagination.

Siyu was cunning and smart, in the arts and in academics even if he couldn't see. he manipulative and secretive, though he didn't like to admit it even if it was a necessary evil.

only one person knew Siyu was blind, someone he trusted with his life and he intended to keep it that way. his best friend and bodyguard, Shiro Nakaji. Siyu also happens to be a world famous singer, and in the 9 years he's been performing not a single person around the world had ever figured out he was blind. that's how Siyu liked it.

Siyu sighed as he heard Shiro's loud and heavy footsteps walking towards his bedroom door. it was far too early in the morning to be waking up, let alone going to school at 7 in the morning. it was only the two of them in the large house as they only recently moved to japan.

Shiro thought it was necessary for them to finish school in japan in a real school instead of homeschooling and make some "friends" even though the plan was to only be in japan for a few months on tour.

Siyu should be a  first year in high school but despite only being 15, he had skipped quite a few grades and finished most of school online during homeschooling at an early age, so he had never been to a real school. if Siyu and Shiro started school now in japan, they would both only be there a year and be in third year classes despite siyu's age. so Siyu really didn't see the point considering there was only a year until they both graduate anyway.

Shiro walked into siyu's room without knocking, knowing the boy already heard him coming. Siyu's hearing was incredibly sensitive as he relied on it more than he did his other remaining senses since he had no sight. Siyu wasn't even sure what he looked like because he was never interested in having Shiro describe his own appearance. he simply didn't care to know since he couldn't see himself anyway. but by the whispers he heard from people, mostly girls as he walked by, Siyu assumed he wasn't bad looking.

siyu trusted Shiro to buy and pick all his clothes entirely because he was the son of famous fashion designers. and so far he's been great at helping Siyu keep up his pop star, bad boy look as siyu had never cared about a specific style as long as he looked good and kept up his image for his fans since he couldn't see and give his opinion.
