My parents bid me goodbye.

I wear the purple cape my grandparents gave me.

And I was off.

My grandparent's village was a few hours away and my parents couldn't bring them our fresh produces, so that was my new role.

I dident mind at all because I thrived in nature, the beautiful scenery makes my aching pains go away and my negative thoughts disipate aswell.

With my small basket I walk through the small path many villegers like me, walk through. I was used to walking through these woods but I stopped from taking these small journies to my grandparent's village because of school.

Women might be seen as a stay at home wives but I didn't believe that theory.

But now school has ended and I have been working at my parent's small store, but I was the delivery girl aswell.

So here I am. On my way to my grandparents home alone, snow started to fall but it was light flurries which were good. I dont mind the snow, I actually love it, I would stroll throught the woods in pure happiness as I hear the snow crunching under my feet.

I've seen these trees so many times that I could probably remember each and everyone. I would see small deer prancing through the woods and I would smile widely as I admire every single aspect of nature.

My cloak would keep me warm as I swung my basket back and fourth, I would pretended to be a dragon and huff put "smoke", occasionally laughing at my childishness.

A small rabbit appears infront of my path and I smiled at the adorable creature, I slowly got closer and pulled out a carrot that was for my grandparents.

"Come here cutie" I smile, the rabbits small nose twitches as it looks at me oddly, it hops one step closer but then suddenly dissapears in a rush.

"Aw... that's a shame..." I frown, I put the carrot back as I continue on my way... but the trees that I know so well we're now covered in large slashes... claw marks maybe?. I continue forward but the large scratches on the trees started to get bigger and deeper. As the snow that crunches beneath my shoes calms me down by reminding me I'm in my familiar woods, I continue walking... but then all of a sudden something falls on my hand.

I stop in my tracks and lift my hand up in confusion, a red shiny liquid trickles down my hand as I look up, trying to see where the strange liquid came from, but there was nothing there. I sniff the liquid and a strong metallic sent wafts in my nose as I look around and see bigger puddles of blood.

"What in the world..." I whisper as I keep walking closer to examine the blood, when the sound of something rustling. I slowly spin around to face the sound maker, when I was surprised to see no one.

"Is anyone there?"

"..." silence surrounds the ominous forest as I breathe in the crisp evening air, the sun was already going down, and the cold and snowy day made the atmosphere look blue.
