Simulation 101

Introduction

In this world, it takes place inside of a computer simulation but people aren't aware of it. They were born to believe that they are real people but in reality just ones and zeroes. These "characters" are run by files that exist inside the computer so if one file was deleted that person would be removed from the digital world, gone forever. But no deaths have occurred at all so far today in their society.

But in the deep, dark, side of the simulation is a secret group called the Pirates. This group of bad guys are actually the ones who are self aware, that know about the character files. These files have personalities and traits that could be amplified are changed easily if they knew how to hack into them, which unfortunately, they do. They can remove files easily and they are also aware of the real world. They believe that they are actually really people that were in the real world before, but after a tiny accident with the cable, it ended up trapping every single person on Earth at once. Since they are so many people, sometimes the world tends to lag. As they are the bad guys, they are viruses that can corrupt the computer. Since they are groups of sadists they love to torment their targets before deleting them and turning then into another virus. This group is run by a leader named Pireatta, who is the most powerful character in the world. She started this group at the age of 18, once she found out she was a "character". and she wants to go back to being "free". She is a virus.

However, they aren't the only ones that are self aware. In fact, back into normal society, there is one teenage girl named Amoria, who starts to suddenly become aware that she is in a simulation. This starts when she stars having unfamiliar dreams and flashbacks and remembers things that she has never came across before. She starts to become aware that she can delete characters too. And then other characters become self-aware.
